How many references do you need? Are they strict on the amount of references, and on contact details? My references no longer work for the companies I was working in so I have no way of contacting them
Anyone know how it’s going in Dublin? I only interviewed this week and haven’t received results yet. Just wondering how active the panel has been! Thanks 😊
Should get results soon!
Mine weren’t that far behind my interview, but still waiting on the clearance team to contact myself.
I was asked to pick locations but i didnt see any list
First day went really well, a good few of us started together so that helped! Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
You can request a transfer on day 1 to a different county / dept. Or even a different dept in the same county AFAIK.
So get the request in asap anyway! But you got to wait 2 years to be allowed mobility as you said but get the name in the hat at least early.
Was it online?
Hi the same happened me with Meath county council I got an email a few weeks later saying I have being selected for interview the score to pass the interview was over 400 I achieved just over 600 but received an email saying you have achieved the required result but we have decided due to the large volume of applicants that achieved higher scores my results did not meet this but they will keep my application on file. Fingers crossed for you maybe Dublin might be different
No all the training will take place in the office.
@seamus92 I had my interview in January :)
Same here for leitrim. I met the shortlist score, but due to volume they called those only who scored 615 & above I missed out by 5 points was raging lol! Still it said will pull temps from that panel too.
Anyone from Dublin, have any luck today from the Clarence team?
Nothing yet!, be nice to have a vague idea of where the process is at
I emailed them but no reply as of yet
I did the same still nothing
Just got a reply! So I'm guessing you will too at some stage today
Oh! Fingers crossed
I was in the low 800's and they expect me to be called for clearance in the next 3 weeks or so
I’m in the 800’s aswell I’d assume I’d be the same if you hear anything let me know
Thank you
Can I ask how quickly did people get interview dates after returning their EOI?
thanks
EOI received 4/4. Interview date issued 14/4. Interview 22/4. Results 22/4 (the same day)
I got an email back from them this week. They told me they are up to the 560's for entering into clearance. From some of my colleagues experience over the past two months, clearance is taking anything between 2 weeks - 6 weeks to come through after submitting it
Thank you for your reply 👍🏻 Hopefully they catch up to the 800’s soon enough, I’m eager to get my Clarence done now.
Wonder where we will be all placed 🤔
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has any update on the Wexford panel. I’m in the 50s and the past couple of weeks I’ve emailed them they’re still on number 29 for interviews. Thanks in advance :-)
I had an assessment in Feb for Cork City council and was 16th. I’ve received an email that first 30 applicants will be called for an interview. So as I understood, there were a lot of people who achieved passing mark but were not among those 30 people who were called for an interview. After an interview a panel was formed and I just received letter of offer two days ago. When they fulfil places from the panel, if they need more people, they will start interviewing again those people who had passing mark.
I have my interview on Thursday ? Any tips ???
Study the competencies as well as u can. Questions will be based on competencies stated. Kind of questions u can be asked varies but will be based around them.
They want u to answer using the STAR method. Just know a lil about civil service too just incase.
Good luck
Anyone get assigned to the dpp? Would be interested for any advice or to see if anyone is in the same position
I have a couple pages of basic info I prepared & a couple I'd pages of questions I was asked & also sample questions that have been asked before. I can pm them up you like?
