Or maybe they’re allowed get it wrong. Don’t forget, a lot of people were even questioning Biden/US intelligence as close as days before the war.
So they can have civil War for generations?
Do we know that all the Russian battalions originally in the North have reorganised and dispersed through the South East or is that still a work in progress?
It'd be good to have a reliable impression as to the levels and position of the Russian manpower, artillery etc in the south-east at this stage of their war.
the Ukraine has the majority of tanks in the country now, can they make them work is the question
And you have a new friend and trusty side kick "ratboy"
Might be a bit difficult to organise the exact foodstuffs to match the drop in a warzone. It would be very easy to come up with a system to circumnavigate this especially when they can still easily communicate with the outside world.
Find a rat, feed it a bit of the food, if rat dies don't eat the rest of the food.
Edit: meanwhile Russia has gone to great expense and effort to fail to kill you, and you've been eating the good food that didn't kill the rat.
Rain stops in Donbas tomorrow, good weather forecast from the weekend, possibly a bigger Russian push on the region, will see
Poisoned food or, failing that, those hideously out-of-date MREs the Russians are reported to have.
Also very easy to retrieve said identifier from any drone you do shoot down and put it into your poisoned drop
Lets be real, the only country that has been serious about security in continental Europe for the last 70 years has been America, they continue fund everything, this is why you see countries like Germany with a handful of moldy arms to offer, they haven't spent a penny, they rely on America for protection, Russia for Energy and China for cheap trade. They publicly endorse green energy, choosing gas over nuclear because it is cheaper(but produces more greenhouse gasses), forcing the EU to buy meat from the dying amazon region so they can export transportation to south america, replacing the less carbon intensive, higher quality european meat production. Calling them hypocritical would be too nice, they are consciously selfish and self interested with zero thought for their impact on the greater good. They are not good European citizens.
I wish I could find it now, Emily Haber, the German Ambassador to the US was interviewed by DW just before the war began and Zelensky made a speech at the EU. She was the most condescending person I've ever heard in my life. He got a huge ovation and her response was basically "Well I think people gave him this reception because they sympathize with his situation, he is clearly inexperienced in some of his demands but you really have to commend him for being brave", I actually felt sick listening to her qualify the praise from other nations(for whom she does not speak) because she clearly didn't like it.
Very easy to circumvent that with some identifier included with each drop. If the correct identifier isn't in the package you don't eat the food.
Few thousand small commercial drones fly in with a plastic bottles of water and some ration pack or however much they can each carry. Any drones that make it back to fly in again is a bonus.
Reportedly - The 121 phoenix ghost drones being sent are apparently similar to switchblades (the kamikaze drones), and may have been developed and produced very recently
None of the above is confirmed, but good news if true
If that was to happen, the Russians wouldn't need to stop the drones carrying food. They would just join in with their own drones delivering poisoned food
You're bang on the money, now is the time to organise a third party fleet of drones, unafiliated with any nation, for use in relieving sieged areas.
A task for Elon Musk perhaps ?
Radio controlled boats too ?
There has been a cliche of boards posters who have spent years defending this regime. Their support seems to have dried up, almost as if reality eventually catches up with nonsense.
They were getting it in by helicopter but that stopped, presumably. Might be possible to drone some stuff in but you'd need a lot of drones.
The Americans seem to have decided that this is a war they can't let Ukraine lose so are finally putting some serious hardware together for them. I assume the British are of the same opinion and when the dust settles on this they will be the two countries that do best out of the rebuild process. Ukraine won't forget who their friends were. I wouldn't like to be a German builder looking to get a contract in Ukraine in 2024.
Ukraine had/will receive 155mm artillery with over 100k shells (I think Biden said 150k) That gives them a couple of more miles range compared to the current and existing Russian 152mm.
Here's hoping they can pummel the Russian artillery from a safe distance while manpads and starstreak defend them from counter air assaults.
He would look even MORE FEARSE if he had his top off!
Yes, there must be some way of getting food and medical supplies into the plant from the air, especially given how big the place is. Hopefully they are working on some ingenious plan as we speak.
To get food / arms / ammunition in to the plant Drop Circa 40 parachutes - 30 of them being dummies. They could all be of a similar weight - using stones in the dummies. Drop them all at the same time and dead at night and when there is good cloud cover.
the Russians bould be bleary eyed after a hard night and would not know which parachute to fire at - there being so many of them.
The ORGANiSER would need to come up with a way of protecting the ammunition from going off because of ground impact.
A one off drop could keep them going for another few days .
Another $800m of military support for Ukraine from the US.
17 seconds into this is the photographer carrying a gun?
Denazify Mariupol. Renazify its classrooms.
Not Kharkiv anyway, it's still under Ukrainian control - lots of Russian attacks in the general area and it's under siege somewhat but it never actually fell to the invaders.
What will likely happen is that the more competent and disciplined Russian troops in the area will be redeployed elsewhere and the ill-disciplined rabble that will be left to hold the blockade will descend in to drunken mayhem, resulting in those left within the plant inflicting further damage in the Russians.
Surely at some point these losses are unsustainable. Could it be that the Russians will fight themselves to a standstill? The cannon fodder strategy could be their downfall.
With the vast Azovstal steel works now allegedly blockaded, what will the fighters inside eventually do apart from either die from thirst/hunger or surrender before this occurs?
