Reports of Ukrainian positions in several locations being heavily bombarded tonight in the east.
@Amprodude - He is firing missiles into Lyiv for no particular reason at all and serving no purpose at all.
The reasoning would be threefold:
'.. hold me back lads, I'm going to burn them out, hold me back, I'll smash their winders..'
Well, the more the Russians advance, the more they will need to be resupplied.
The more they capture the more spread out they will be.
The more of them there are, the easier it will be to javelin the cnuts.
If this is actually the case, best of luck to Ukraine tonight and in the next week or two. Everyone will be willing them on and hoping they can repel the Russian brutes and thugs.
I don't think there would be any debating it generally doesn't work like that , threats have been made and Poland already called article 4 weeks ago which means they asked for assistance as they believed their borders were under threat ,
If missles hit Poland they will immediately call article 5 and Nato will respond there won't be a forensic investigation before taking action ,it's why Nato forces are already prepared to move in the event of an attack
What they did to whores like Daly in post WW2 France I’d have no objection whatsoever in her case.
Whoever voted this whore into any political office would want to take a good hard look at themselves. Here’s her giving you two fingers when asked a few basic questions
From the Guardian live blog:
Russia has adjusted its tactics in its new offensive in eastern Ukraine and, according to a US senior defense official who joined reporters on a call on Monday, they have from their previous failures in the early days of the invasion.
“What we have seen over the last few days is them continue to try to set the conditions,” the senior defense official told reporters. “We call it shaping operations.”
Russia has moved 11 new battalion tactical groups into the east and south of Ukraine in recent days, preparing heavy artillery, aviation, and other military assets, and directed more troops into the region. Moscow withdrew forces from the north and brought forces in from areas near the Kyiv and in Belarus to focus on the eastern front. The Russian military is now concentrated on taking control of the Donbas, Reuters reported:
Russia’s reinforcements have set the stage for a protracted battle that military analysts say is certain to inflict heavy losses on both sides as the Russians try to encircle Ukraine’s fighters dug in to defend the Donbas region.
Judging by the videos of some of the bombardments coming out of the Donbas region tonight looks like the Russians are determined to tie their control up there as soon as possible.
What they did to whores like Daly
What's your issue exactly with whores roadhigh?
Have you had problems with them?
That’s true, wrong of me to insult whores like this. Absolutely nothing wrong with their profession. Daly is a much much lower form of life
It's a much smaller area now though, and much shorter distances to the Russian border. If anything it's going to work against the Ukrainian forces now as they'll need to move their supplies and troops much greater distances, and within range of russian anti-aircraft weapons and artillery
Video you shared is good. But it's very unfair to compare Whores to Daly.
Whores only fcuk their clients. Daly wants to fcuk Ukraine.
Also, just realised how much I dislike that word. So old fashioned.
Going to be along grim night in Ukraine. Russia will throw everything they have at this.
Doesn't look good😕
Wow! Someone's been drinking from the angry barrel today! Hehe.
Just remember at the start of this war things also looked grim.
Ukraine can still pull this off. Morale is high, they are fighting for their homeland, and getting supplies from allies.
Well, when Peskov says that they can't evaluate photos of the Moskva sinking as authentic or corresponding to the reality, he's right in one respect: they don't correspond to the Russian "reality" of the ship being eventually being sunk in a storm. Calm as a millpond, it is. I suppose the Russians are as useless at fakery as they are at military matters generally.
Thoughts with Ukraine tonight. Hopefully Ukraine has been sufficiently supplied.
No. Just calling you out on your posturing. You were claiming to be ready to march on the Russia embassy and burn it down about eight hours ago. Are you there yet?
And in 30 days time when they are still trying to take control will they shift their objectives to some small village along the border with Russia
I pray Ukraine keeps playing the smart game and repels them back
Would think Russia will just spaff everything for the next couple of weeks and finish up for Victory Day. Aim to take what they can along the south and in the east, maybe smash Odessa up.
And what happens then? Ukraine will just rollover and say you’re grand. I doubt it. Plus the western weapons that are flowing into Ukraine, ain’t going to dry up.
30 days time? I don't share the optimism judging by the fire power being unleashed now. We'll see over the next few days.
They're still trying to take Mariupol and they tried to flatten it
The problem is that things looked grim because people expected Russia to operate in a certain way; and didn't predict how staunch the Ukrainian defence would be. Now everyone knows Ukraine's capabilities (including Russia); and Russia has had an opportunity to learn from its initial mistakes.
One key question is to what extent Russia has actually learned; and to what extent it will be able to put those learnings into practice on the ground.
Another key question is whether the West is actually willing and able to supply Ukraine with enough supplies and in sufficient quantities to give Ukraine the best possible chance in the east. I've seen a number of people who know much more about military logistics than I questioning this recently; and various reporters are claiming positions in the Donbass are running low on ammunition etc.
As far as heavy weapons it looks highly likely none of those announced more recently are going to arrive in time for the first weeks of the defence; and as we all know the likes of Germany/France/Italy don't seem to be even preparing to contemplate the delivery of heavy weapons so whatever Ukraine have ready is probably all they're going to have.
I agree that Ukraine can still pull this off; I just hope they have what they need to do so, and without incurring massive losses.
On what we have seen so far, I'd say the Ukrainians have plenty of surprises for the Russians.
Firepower can be a lot more impressive than it is effective, a lesson that was learned the hard way at places like Waterloo, Gettysburg, Verdun, the Somme, Stalingrad, Tarawa, Cassino, Iwo Jima and Kustrin, among others. Hopefully the same will hold true here.
(I wonder if the Ukrainians will make use of the WW2 German eastern front tactic of vacating the forward positions before the bombardment and then reoccupying them afterwards in time to meet the attack or just waiting to meet it in the second line.)
Without Britain and America giving vast quantities of serious weaponry, the Ukraine would be half gone now.
Too many in Europe are trying to stay friends and business partners with Putin and Russia and he will pull the plug when it suits him.
Democracy is worth fighting for in Europe or it is not.
Talking about solidarity isn't Killing Russian soldiers in Ukraine tonight but it is helping kill Ukrainian ones.
