I can confirm....
Taoiseach has said (Yet Again)
"Lessons must Be Learned"
Over to Leo 😁😁
BINGO!
What did I win?
🤣🤣🤣🤣, now hang on, we await Leo's insightful follow up, we know he can't abide being over shadowed 😁
Are you asking to explain the difference between RTE/newspaper and Twitter? No thanks. Also embeds links…
I made my point clear anyway on the posts already
He can't as even the dogs on the street knows it's true.
Tony will be Gutted, not being the main story on Six One news 😳
Astonishing, Taoiseach says he has confidence in Robert Watt 😳, more like he's Terrified of Robert Watt
You make no point, you just deflected
What is the difference between a relevant and cogently written tweet and the words of a journalist?
How many lessons do you think FFG will be learning before the next election? And how many lessons is too many?
More deflection - nobody is asking you to explain differences between twitter comments and RTE/Indo articles. I asked why would you respond to posts about Indo articles on here and not the Indo's comments section seeing as the Indo website was the platform where the article was posted? Surely if you cared about Indo articles you'd just log onto the Indo website and not Boards
Other posters made theirs clear too - they're not using anonymous twitter accounts as proof, verifiable sources etc. Just along the lines of "oh look someone said something that made me think - here it is". It just happened to be seen on Twitter (but for the third time - you know that already)
Anyhow off with you - run away from stuff you don't like. I'll not be responding and going round in circles for a number of reasons, most of which can be explained by quotes credited to Mark Twain
SFA provided its not a troll account tweeting,
The problem is that the lessons are not sticking with this bunch.
😂
And on and on and on... until it is meaningless....
Brilliant 👏 😁 👏 😁
Somebody should do one of those sound compilations of him saying it.
Complete disregard of the electorate to think that is satisfactory anymore.
I already gave an explanation. It was crystal clear. Yet you are accusing me of "going around in circles". I can't help you if you don't understand a basic point.
Read my posts, I already explained.
You didn't actually. You waffled about bogus accounts some, but you didn't explain what the difference was in comments made in each medium.
Ah, but Eoghan Harris....
'Lessons learned' is like a U.S. Republican saying 'thoughts and prayers'. They just want to be seen to be concerned and play along for optics. They'll be generating sweet deals/hitting the gun range ASAP.
FF and FG must be having great laugh when the other gets caught. It's a game of no consequences and big rewards.
Quick Trawl of the archives and there is actually a big difference between Co Taoiseachs.
Michael Martin speaks of the need for Lessons to Be Learned 🤔
Leo Varadkar seems to have Learned lots of Lesson's (Well in his mind anyway) 😁
I am not talking about his sock puppet accounts but his main account that would have had the FFG followers on here nodding in agreement because they never opposed his views.
Ah yeah, just he's a good example of journalist/twitter troll.
They talk about twitter like it doesn't have all the reputable news that print or broadcasting has, but the pesky public get to be heard and that's the problem. Right up until they see a tweet they want to quote.
If Twitter does not have all the reputable news then name a journalist who is not on Twitter?
I know that you won't be able to name one.
Of course if the journalist has views contrary to their own, they will quickly be disowned by the FFG supporters on here as the don't agree with or believe in opposing views.
The "I already explained" is his go-to. I'm sure a search of this thread (not sure if that's possible anymore/yet on new boards) would show that as one of his most repeated phrases after outrage etc..
When it would actually be easier to repeat what he supposedly actually said. - i.e. Nothing.
Quoted nearly as often as "lessons have been learned". 😀
You have me wrong. My point is Twitter is no different than any other medium with the exception that the public get a say too. As I said, it's only disreputable when they read something they don't like.
The absence of the Government fanboys over the last few days is interesting. Only popping in to have a bit of pedantry bless.
I totally agree with you and when I mentioned about naming a journalist not on Twitter I was asking the FFG supporters to name one who isn't.
Twitter has been a godsend as it has given Joe Public the right of reply and also a way of publicly shaming TD's/ministers into doing their job.It also gives whistleblowers a way to let us know what's really happening.
Thats why they slag off twitter and Facebook, the great unwashed having a platform.
So funds (Salary) where not in place 🤔
Trinity would have to apply (beg) for funds from redearch unit to cover, Tonys Salary, even though he was actually being paid anyway 🤔
Tony not owed any apology (Michael Martin), at least that's true.
