With Russia’s defeat around Kyiv and their unplanned ‘planned change in strategy’ there is clearly a good case for an EU/US/NATO peacekeeping force in western Ukraine?
And rightly so. We are all relieved Kyiv hasn't fallen and world leaders are going to visit.
Hopefully the rebuild of that part of Ukraine can start in earnest. I seen farmers (outside of the heroic tank raiders that stayed) are starting to return to Ukraine to get ready for the harvest.

The European Commission’s president, Ursula von der Leyen, pledged to offer Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy a speedier start to his country’s bid to become a member of the EU, Reuters reports.
Von der Leyen handed Zelenskiy a questionnaire which will form a starting point for the EU to decide on membership for Kyiv.
The European Commission chief said:
'It will not as usual be a matter of years to form this opinion but I think a matter of weeks.'
Zelenskiy told journalists that the questionnaire would be ready in a week.
At this stage the average Russian in Russia must know what's going on. Many Russians have left the country recently and they're getting news here so they can inform the people back home. There are a million channels of info. still open to Russians.
