Russia has literally been bombing Ukrainian train stations for the last 48 hours at least. The Putin bots are something else : the regime could detonate a nuclear weapon over Kyiv and the bots would say it was fired by either Ukraine or NATO.
As I said yesterday some of those handbags are probably worth more than the average Russian's salary.
This is what is so unbelievable, you have these self entitled c u n ts chopping up designer handbags worth thousands, you have Putin appearing at rallies wearing designed coats worth thousands and the plebs are still supporting them and worst still probably seeing their sons go off to war.
Then again some of their sons are murdering raping bastards so no loss to mankind if they end up rotting in Ukraine being eaten by dogs.
I saw someone describe the Russian "army" as a bunch of killers, looters and rapists. It would be an accurate description (but it also guarantees that they will lose this war.....this is not a professional fighting force, just a ramshackle group of armed thugs and murderers).
Germanys view of eastern europe seems to have reverted to that of Bismarck in the 19th century...
I shall not advise any participation in the war as long as no German interest shall be called in question that may be considered worth the healthy bones of a single Pomeranian grenadier.
If you look at the history of WW2 you will find that the Red Army did much the same.
The Soviet War memorial in the centre of Vienna built by the Soviets to commerate the Red Army soldiers killed fighting for Vienna, was often labelled by locals as the "memorial to the unknown rapist" and "looters memorial".
EDIT: co-incidentally Putin laid a wreath there one year.
Also drunks….
Nato will not do more than they have even though we all think the should there will be no no fly zone or no boots on the ground tbey will tie themselves in knots moving red lines or changing wording they will not have nato military troops or assets engage russians they just wont its a disgrace but they wont
"Residents of London brought things to the Russian embassy that they can take for themselves as "trophies". Among them: a washing machine, a toaster, rags, linen, toys and decorations. Everything that the Russians looted on Ukrainian soil."
There is actually a night video of a RU MLRS firing from in a wood. The leafy ground behind catches fire and sparks and stuff come back at the launcher from the front as rockets presumably light branches.
Russophobia is the new buzzword over there it seems. They'll be regretting that in fee years when they still can't have nice things.
Surely it must be clear that the only way to deal with a character like this who bareface denies the horrible facts is to put a bullet in his head.
No ifs or buts and no excuses, he is an educated guy refuses to accept reality and is promoting genocide.
A horrible death…..
According to another news site, it has not been uncommon for he Russians to write “For the children of Donbas” on their munitions, this is probably the remnants of such a slogan.
Knowing some of those North London luvvies it's probably just their way of escaping the costs of going to the local tip.
One wonders if they were forced to do it by you know who. Maybe they found out that they were fake/ imitations made in China. !!!!!!
Them with their perpetual chip on their shoulder about Donbass. Even that Peskov eejit was citing Donbass as a reason for the war of annihilation against Ukraine last night.
Exactly. If the West hasn't got involved by now, nothing will change it. But they'll keep expressing their outrage in tweets and giving Zelensky standing ovations and stop Putin's daughters from shopping in Paris for the next while and congratulate themselves fir their solidarity and deeply held values
The West is giving Ukraine massive military, financial and humanitarian support in this crisis, and at least the first two are deeply hampering what the Russians obviously planned to be a whiz-bang invasion. That's not to mention all the stuff that's probably being done but is too sensitive to publicly reveal and hinder the advantages gained. To focus in on tweets and ovations for Zelenskyy as being the crux of the response is like saying the main thing the U.S. did about the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan was put out the film, 'Red Dawn' to stir up some anti-Soviet feeling. In other words, deeply inaccurate.
Yeah I know but they could be doing much more and aren't out of a combination of fear and placing the economy above human lives. It's pretty clear at this stage that Russia also wants to avoid a wider conflict but still they are being allowed slaughter indiscriminately for one more month before the May 9 "victory" parade
At this stage I am surprised they haven't denied they are in Ukraine at all.
Germany has already fundamentally changed position though. They have literally ripped up decades of foreign policy in the last few weeks.
You could make the same comment about the EU.
No thats true, but even if they were in a forest as i have seen they wouldnt use camo
But its digging in and use camo cover as an option in an open field
self propelled artillery seems like another issue as i have seen, they seem to be stuck in same position and that will give them away, and without camo even easier.
Yeah, I was wondering were some posters unaware of all the various forms of aid (both military and non-military) that have been given to Ukraine and how unprecedented this was. And yes, more can always be done and I know people are coming from a good place in terms of the outrage at what Russia is doing but it's actually staggering, if you go back in time just a mere few months, how much the geopolitical landscape has shifted.
What was that great quote of Lenin's? "There are decades where nothing happens and there are weeks where decades happen."
We're living through one of those times now. The fact that it doesn't happen instantaneously shouldn't obscure the magnitude of what has happened.
But has Germany fundamentally changed position? The promised increase in defence spending is not in new budget figures released, neither for the present not the next few years. It remains to be seen just what is going to happen there
I think people need to also understand its not always as straight forward as "Putin therefore evil, anybody who doesn't do everything to counteract him is a dick" . You have to be in power to make decisions against Russia...
Its all good and well saying "Germany should do x" , "the EU should do ...", but part of living in a democracy is that not everybody shares the exact same values or priorities and governments have to try and factor in the response to measures they may take that can cause hardship to its people.
Imagine Le Pen gets into power in France, the fact we can even say that's a possibility right now suggests that a significant portion of French people don't really care about having closer ties with Putin. If Germany cuts off Russian Gas immediately, impacting all German people, could a comparable rise of of a Putin friendly alternative in Germany become really popular?
I'm seeing a huge amount of criticism of Germany on social media today - seen as very weak and putting their economy as a priority well ahead of the horrible effects of the war.
As an aside, there is an earlier simpler version of that from the English Civil War... "We are living long in a little time."
Anyone with an ounce of common sense would see past the veil of propaganda and just see it for what it is. Illegal dumping. I wonder how many of them attend climate action demos.
It was a cluster bomb that hit the train station, a train station which has seen 1000's of Ukrainians flee to the West on the back of officials telling them to evacuate last Sunday.
The scum want to keep the civilians there.
