Actually I have stocked up on this from Aldi as well while back - they do have it in from time to time. I usually use it in a Park chain cleaner and it does do a good job

i wish either Aldi or Lidl would bring back cycling shoes ....my pair (SPD cleats) are about 8 yrs old now....i've had to glue on the whole sole about 3 times but they are fantastic value (€29 ?) just for commuting (40-60min)
Is the Muc Off “Dry Oil” in Aldi the same as the dry lube they sell everywhere else? And is it in any way suited to the Irish climate, and basically any good? I’ve been using their wet lube for ages, it’s very long lasting but it picks up so much dirt.
Loads of both in Terenure yesterday, as well as the aerosol degreaser, “bike cleaner” and a few other bits like lights and cable locks.
It's all I use on my bikes. In winter you just have to apply it more regularly

Saw them in my local one, but wasn't that gone on the form factor tbh.
Had a look at the phone holder and light combo today in aldi. The light was good but the phone holder on it was rubbish. Poxy looking yoke altogether.
Likely had windows media player on the laptop which might not have supported the codec used by the camera.
What codec does it use - I can't find any details anywhere? VLC will handle almost anything thrown at it, and can be installed on phones as well. Still, it's not great from the point of view of maybe wanting to submit it if it can't be played on lowest common denominator media player (i,e, whatever Windows uses). Sure you can transcode it to MP4 or something, but that'd give some already reluctant guard even more of an excuse ("Can't be taking that - it's been modified"). I do notice that Windoze media player doesn't support the Blu Ray codecs out of the box (god knows why), so this may be what it's recorded in - I believe it's a common choice for HD footage. I had a Panasonic camera that recorded in that format by default and it was a right PITA until I found the deeply buried option to record in MP4
Not sure about the Aldi one, most of them though are mp4 or avi with H.264 codec
EDIT: Actually have a couple in the new H.265 and windows media player doesn't play nicely with them.

Have a look at that, it's one of the first things I install on a laptop. Normally works for me.

When a special doesn't arrive at my local does that typically mean all shops didn't get the delivery?
