Thats a great reference point to have. So say you dont plan to run it lower than 10%, a 280km real world motorway range sounds about right - driving in winter at the speed limit?
I assume you cannot get the grant because it is a second hand car?
I bought an ex-Demo model 3 a couple of weeks ago and because I was the first registered owner, not the dealership, they still were able to apply the SEAI grant. Also, the model I got has FSD and it cost about the same as this demo model that doesn't have that feature.
I presume the price on this one is because it's silver and it's there if you want to drive it away without waiting until August-November.
My experience based on your requirements - 230km (+/- 10km for traffic & weather conditions). Thats hard driving (120+) at cold temps (below 8C) on motorway and constant cabin temp of 19C via heat pump. Typically I wouldnt drive at those speeds as weather worsens or temp drops much further because I dont run winter tyres.
BUT I have a Fremont SR+ which has the NMC battery and I would normally be starting from a max charge of 90%. LFP may be slightly better given you can start at 100%. But I wouldnt think by much. Ease back even to 110-115km/h and the range starts to increase significantly.

It should be built into the second hand price.
That price seems high for the spec, I’d suggest a call or email to the sales guys and ask. As they’ve been known to make errors on the prices and trade prices.
I'm sure it's doable if you hyper mile it, but why even bother wanting to know? SuC is available on the midway point of the route, and there's some decent destination charging in Belfast (CastleCourt Shopping Centre has Tesla Destination Chargers).
I see that is a 2021 car, would that not be the Unicorn model? ie the more powerful motor with the LFP battery. Yet they are quoting the new motor/battery figures.
I did it last year for a wedding in Belfast. When I say I did it, I mean I drove up and left the car in castlecourt overnight.
The hotel was nearby but had no parking. I got up the next morning and strolled down to castlecourt and plugged the car in. Went back to the hotel, checked out, went for something to eat and a look around the shops. Came back and the car was almost full again.
Straight back to Dublin.
Interested to see if the Tesla supercharger charging rate will now increase inline with ESB hikes
I think towards the end of 2021 they used the 60kWh LFP battery with the old more powerful motor, that's what I was told when I tested a 2021 Unicorn back in January this year.

I left home on 100% and got there about 40% iirc.
Castlecourt charger was very handy. Free of charge and by the time I left I was on 80 odd percent. Plenty to get me home.
When I went up before Christmas, I was hoping for a charge in CastleCourt, but wasn't banking on it, so took on enough in Castlebellingham to get me back down to Castlebellingham later that day. Arrived in Castlecourt to find all chargers available (arrived 30 mins after opening), but when we returned to the car about 2-3 hours later all charge points were fully occupied. So its a busy hub (they always are when they are free). Think we left on about 95% which was plenty enough to get us all the way home.
My father still can't get his head around the "free" charging.
My parents are rural Tyrone but the nearest town has 2 ESB chargers and both are reliable and very rarely in use. If I bring him and my mum for lunch or a bit of shopping I always throw the charger on. It baffles him that I'm getting "free fuel" 😂

I got to the point that once a week I done a reboot on my 2016 MS.
I found it just worked then and didn’t have as many bugs etc
At the end of the day, you’d reboot your phone every few days, your laptop daily etc
Tinting is on my mind. I have the white car and love the dechromed bits so I reckon tint will look great to complete the contrast. I'm debating the front side windows. What % is "safe" if I don't want any hassle at Garda checkpoint etc, opinions? No NCT for a few years but I don't want to be taking the mick either...
I'd want my maps delivered on floppy disks by post. Can't see who would ever want up to date satellite maps automatically downloaded while you drive. Preposterous!

Im doing 20% on the rear doors, rear quarter panel window and the rear hatch/roof up to the cross member.
I will then do 35% on the front as it’s light enough to see through but dark enough to know it’s there.
I’ll worry about the NCT in 2 years.
I will also dechrome and fot Matt black emblems.
I’m white M3P with gray wheels.

Yes Tesla have it up for sale at €66,500. Stripped off the free connectivity and supercharging of course.

newer car.

90% of the performance on daily driving.
compact size for city work, parking and in and out of tight sites I work in.
newer tech (MCU/Dashcam/Sentry) and I actually used Netflix while waiting on the kids at football training the other night.
Slightly better refined switchgear if you get me.
feels tighter into corners less boaty compared to the S
i love the minimal interior some won’t but I do and always did
and this is a weird one, the smaller steering wheel I really like over the large S wheel.
Cons.
miss opening the sunroof.
miss the powered boot (although that’s on the new 3’s).
the door closing etc is slightly Shea per sounding than the S but the 3 is a cheaper car.
I thought I’d miss the air suspension more but 80% of the time I don’t but thawed is one or 2 times I say to myself, would that road have been more comfortable in the S?
I will most Likely use Padraig in Flawless Detailing to do the tinting. He is in the Tesla owners group and I was in with him the other day. He is also PPF on the centre console for me.
