Will each additional weapon sent into ukraine increase, decrease or have a neutral effect on establishing peace?
Baxtard and two weeks old age pension after being drawn..
In other news, vladimir zhirinovsky has finally died, no loss to humanity.
Reggie polishes tractors these days, I'm sure he'll cope!
Ah herd
What would Reggie and the boys for then they would have nothing to polish
Great to hear Cathal Berry ask the Government to send our anti armour weapons to Ukraine after President Zelenskys address to the Oireachtas.
If only russia had considered that before flooding the country with weapons.
It's the sort of odd thing to be considered in depth before flooding a country with weapons

I don't see a civil war.
All it would take to solve is follow the Russian playbook.
Surround any dissenting areas with Ukrainian forces for say a couple of months giving enough time to flee to Europe , sorry Russia.
Then do a Belarus on it, if the message still hasn't gotten through bus whoever to the Russian border and leave them off.
Russia setting precedents and solving dilemmas all over..
If the Russians are as peaceable as they claim they are they'd have no issue taking in refugees. It was good enough for Europe.
A lot of speculation in there. Just seems to be an odd thing to be fixating on.
I think it's quite likely.
They are unlikely to be able to drive Russians out of Ukraine.
If they compromise on a deal with Russia, it could piss a lot of Ukranians off against the government and spark fighting between themselves. They don't have a single army, multiple groups all whose aspirations for Ukraine could start to diverge in that scenario.
Or fighting drags on and someone decides that Zelensky is holding things back and a coup is in order.
It's very hard to see how Ukraine will be stabilised in the medium term
Very unlikely. There's very few Ukrainians outside of Russian-controlled Donbas welcoming Russians. Ukrainians are pretty united on this one, so are their military.
There's a high probability it will end up being a civil war.
A load of armed, battle hardened angry fighters all of whom will have different ideas on what an acceptable Ukraine will look like after this.
Since they will have risked their lives and had friends/family die up to that point, violence to push for what they want won't be the same step too far that it may have been in the past.
If zelensky signs any compromise, most likely it will be his death warrant.
Putin isn't going to back down either. So where does it end?
I’m certainly not trying to make myself feel better
More russophobia obvs 🤣 🤣 🤣

This is not a civil war it never was. Its a take over by an external back force. The Azov battallion are miniscule compared to the Wagner group mercernies or the fighters bought in from Chechnya or other Russian regions. This was never about Nato. it was all about a greater Russia. Russia is a stagnet country. The only way it can grow is by assimilating other area's into itself. Putin has only scaled back his invasion because he was defeated in is bod to take Kiyv. Now he is concentrating on Dounbass region.
The Azov brigade makes up around 0.1% of Ukrainian armed forces, yet makes up 50% of all the "concern" in these threads. There are equally bad or worse brigades and mercenaries on the Russian side. Keep in mind the Azov brigade only formed when Russian proxy invaded East Ukraine.
Russia has endlessly screwed with Ukraine for over a decade now, poisoning it's political candidates, meddling heavily in it's politics, protecting a corrupt ex-leader (a Russian puppet) from prosecution, annexing territory, sparking a proxy war in Eastern Ukraine, conducting cyber warfare attacks on the country, conducting 8 years of hybrid warfare on Ukraine culminating in the straight up Hitler style invasion of the country.
But "both sides".
Those groups are very real and they should have never been given support from anyone.
Ukraine is most likely going to end up in a civil war now no matter what happens with Russia.
What has happened in the last few weeks will be only a warm-up by the time they really get going.
Ukraine will be the next Afghanistan but Russia will probably just fade into the background leaving the locals to scrap it out. No doubt weapons will pour in covertly from the east and west.
Ukrainians lose no matter what happens but all fighting will do is guarantee more people die.
This is not and never has been about NATO.
Have they OK thanks for that.
Azov is who. Oh that's right they're these Nazis we keep hearing about. Those Jewish Nazis. Or are these members of Nato?
I hear the Russian soldiers ask all Ukrainians Nazi or a Nato before deciding their fate.
You act like it was still putin going in to fight Nazis or Nato.
When will it finally sink in it was about expanding his empire and forcing countries under Russian rule. Which as we can see under Russian control means you're phucked and dead anyway.
Lovely bunch of people. Russian Nazis anyone? Will that term take off.. It's not as if it's not earned by now.
Eastern European countries had Russia's card marked from the start.
Azov have pretty much done everything you mention at the start of your post...
There are savages on both sides.
The west seems content to encourage this war.
Privately zelensky was told Ukraine wasn't ever going to be in nato before the war, so why weren't they able to tell Putin that?
Instead they were more than happy to keep the charade going until relatively recently.
Except Ukraine hasn't invaded Russia.
Taken any males in the towns, villages , tortured and shot them.
Raped the women and children.
Shaved the heads of captured female soldiers.
It's extermination genocide on the Russian side.
We can't make ourselves feel better by saying this is war and sh1t happens.
Same happened with the Russian backed Serbs in yugoslavia. Russia were let away with that too.
We were told before the war by posters on here that Ukrainians had a great affinity with Russia and there'd be no war if Russia entered the country. How wrong that was.
We were told the Eastern regions had even more of an affinity with Russia yet the Eastern cities have been in conflict with whatever the Russians can throw at them and still are. How wrong again.
We believe the Russian side as our conscious won't let us believe we've been fooled by the propaganda that British, French, German and possibly Irish academia have been cooking up in Cambridge to justify the Russian invasion and atrocities that are now following.
My soul feels sick after looking at the image.
Dehumanization, unfortunately is the norm in war , they kill ,we kill
And those properties were probably taken by force since Russia moved in.
Money for jam.
Savagery is not unusual when russians invade. Those in power over the decades in the west, who refused to listen to eastern European countries have a share of the blame for the times we're living in now.
Rumour has it, since putrids invasion of Ukraine, many properties have been put up for sale in russian occupied Crimea. The wealthy are getting nervous. It's alleged curbs have been put on the number of people that can leave the peninsula to go into russia.
As for lies, it's easy to know when a putrid henchman/woman is lying, their lips move.
russia. lies. all. the. time.
It is just unbelievable what man is capable of doing to man.
