I still haven't gotten that. Although now I look through my mails, I see the mail stating 90 Euro. I can see the 60 taken out on March 25 so only a matter of time I suppose.

So she gave gave me a free year instead to march 2023 and refunded the full amount

I got onto live chat and requested to cancel.
I was told you can cancel in the first 14 days but only if you have not used the service.
As I had, it was ineligible to be cancelled and nothing could be done.
That shouldn't matter though should it? Once you turn vpn off, it should then give you the star content from the country your ip address is in because it will still be the disney plus app if using an android or iPhone app..
The main difference is in countries without Star you can't change the age rating so a lot of the movies on Star aren't visible no matter what country you are in. Disney plus don't show 18s content so they have no option to select this age group
The price in Turkey looks great on paper, however the issue is when you try and sign up to Disney+ in another country via VPN etc. it requires a credit/debit card to be issued by a bank in that country that you are wanting to sign up in. There is no way around that right now. Hopefully they might offer a payment option via Google Pay or PayPal which could be a work around, however in other countries such as Argentina where the price would also be quite cheaper they don’t offer such option.
I tried the PayPal method last year, i think i tried a few of the south american countries, it was a no go for that too because you have to have a paypal account from that country. I even talked to customer service about gifting a subscription to my "family member" in Brazil but they said I'd need to buy an ireland sub as i am in Ireland.
I tried a bunch of stuff, couldn't get away from buying in ireland...
Cancelled my sub there yesterday and getting a refund and 12 months continuation of the service too.
