Well, here we are, a few pages later, and we still haven't learned whether posters wanted the Americas Cup or not.
We have people producing lists of politicians and personalising it. Others are not interested in issues only in the political maneouvrings around it.
Can a few of you be honest. Was the Government right to cancel the Americas Cup bid? What are you waiting for in order to pronounce on it?

You asked two questions, I answered both.
The problem with your pronouncements on this is that it clearly exposes a lack of judgement on your part.
If for 50 years you were fooled by what you call the "toxic power swap", how do you know that anything you say isn't because you are being fooled again by somebody or something else? The probability scenarios, based on past behaviour, is that you are being fooled.

Its like how media has sold healy-rae/joe higgins style parish pump politics as evil and held country back (deffo wasnt banks going broke at time lol),

We all take risks voting for party's. Some of us never learn, some of us do. In the case of the government parties that number is at 19% with FG and with FF 16%. Also known as diehards.
