Not sure if this was posted earlier, but, apparently Azerbaijan is launching a criminal case against Mikhail Delyagin for threatening to nuke them and has issued an arrest warrant for him:-
Putin is killing thousands as it is ,
If they show they can hit Moscow or St Petersburg or other large population centers putin falls ,all of his bravado comes to nothing and how would look with him losing the war in Ukraine ,and his cities being hit and he's powerless to stop it ,
There's plenty of people in Russia who could end this tomorrow if they stripped putin of power .
Also doesn't sound particularly Draconian either. More like "we want to lift the sanctions soon, please give us a reason to do so that we can sell to the public and just forget all this ever happened"
Very impressive. Can't see them at all.
Why do we need dialogue? If there is one thing the last few months have proven, is that these assholes don't give a **** about anyone but themselves, so why should we give a **** about them. Cut all contact with them. Let them rot in they're shithole country.
Another oil depot destroyed
I wonder. If Putin consolidates the Donbass I'd say it's more likely he pushes west to try to land Odessa and then calls it quits. I reckon he's given up on Kiev at this stage, game's not worth the candle...
Seems the stock markets are not convinced a peace deal for Ukraine (apart from the East) is in the offing just yet-all down roday
To those advocating killing civilian men, women and children. Have you considered...
Putin wouldn't give fúck one.
Have you heard of the Blitz spirit? It would be like all of Putin's birthdays coming at once.
Pray tell, now that you've sent a 100 rockets into Russian residential areas, and you sit back into your couch with your hand scratching your groin, what do you think you've achieved?
One other question. You can press a button on your couch that will kill 150 men, 300 women and 550 children, ALL Russians. It would be attributed to Ukraine. Would YOU press the button?
Next scenario, I'lll even make it easier for you. Same as above 150 men etc. YOU press the button killing 1,000 random people. Would YOU do it if it brought the war to an end, whereby Ukraine were happy with the deal.
You'd want to see the local FCA lads. They camouflaged all their vehicles and equipment using branches. See how long it takes you to spot them in the photo below.
There was no truth to the rumour that they swapped all the equipment for cans of cider. It was just too well hidden for their superiors to find.
Sneaky fùcking Russian
"Steal a little, and they throw you in jail. Steal a lot, and they make you a king" -- Bob Dylan
I agree with you, Putin should swing for this and Russia should be set on a road towards military obsolescence
How many lives have been thrown off course, or snuffed out, simply because he exists?
The European "Clean Slate" of decades, is now marked by new generations who will hear first hand horror stories about this conflict
'Show me the way to go home'
'Highway to Hell'
I think the tellitubbies or the sound s of baby's cooing and laughing would be a better way to mess with their heads.
How many times have we heard Belarus is about to join in? The question we all ask is will they thought?
Keep it coming:-
If there is a negotiated settlement between Ukraine and Russia, do the international community have to lift the sanctions on Russia? Surely Putin wins if sanctions are lifted and Russia keep a lot of the territory seized from Ukraine.
In my view, any sanctions on Russia should be kept in place ( and expanded) until Ukraine is rebuilt and massive reparations paid by Russia
Kazakhstan boxer supports Ukraine.
Speech in English
In general, people don't want to see anyone bombed, Ukrainians or Russians. You seem to want this conflict to escalate as much as possible - maybe that's not the case, but I'd imagine most people would want Russia to stop their attacks.
Heard a guy on the radio saying that Germany could be rationing gas supply to industry within two weeks. If there is a peace agreement some of the sanctions will start to be lifted pretty quickly.
And also reduce your thermal signature, like SAABs barracuda, when you have drones and thermal on everything these days on the modern battlefield
Neither Syria or Russia (or even Ukraine) are parties to the Rome Convention meaning the ICC can't try any war crimes committed unless the matter is referred to an ICC prosecutor by a UN member state - which in the case of Ukraine has happened, as much as the ICC may want to try war crimes in Syria it can't unless the above happened.
Hello World!
"there's many people out there, who have to be very careful when and where they travel to"
And this is the problem, the likelihood of actually getting Putin to the ICC is likely close to 0 as I can see any foreign travel by him to a country where he can be lawfully detained severely restricted in the future.
Even if his own people turned on him and gave him the boot he can't be lawfully detained in Russia (or even the Ukraine for example) for an eventual trial at the ICC, the ICC also can't conduct any trial in absentia of the accused.
The details are behind a paywall. I can only see one photo showing the back of trucks.
The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, during his visit to Spain, announced that the conclusion of the agreement between Russia and Ukraine would not automatically lead to the lifting of the sanctions. "A peace agreement under threat of arms is not a way to get back to normal," said Rutte, quoted by nos.nl. Earlier, the United Kingdom presented a similar position.
You don't see the difference, how Russians did it?
