Damaging a public defibrilator should result in a public stoning.
Muff shaver ads now, I think I've seen it all.
Is there any way of watching back an episode of Crimecall?
Garda Ailis McBrien is a belter.
yeah its a bit daft, the worst I ever seen on this show was them featuring some woman on cctv who had shoplifted a few euros worth of food, it was hardly deserving of national tv attention or a good use of the resource of national tv..
I dont know who makes the decisions on what to show but there are violent assaults every weekend on our streets that actually change peoples lives, same with aggravated burglaries and while they do show some others must go unshown becasue they are covering petty thefts in the local supermarket.
Apparently not, was mentioned back up the thread that it is not put up on the RTE Player. Something to do with protecting criminals privacy under GDPR <rolleyes>
Not unless someone has recorded it, they don't show it on RTE+1 or the RTE Player after it goes out.
If you need tonight's I might know a telecoms expert up the road so to speak who might have it.
Tina case is awful
I'm sorry but Richard
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. As far as I remember the UK version was more serious crime.
I worked for Dunnes and there was always shop lifting going on. Most get away with it so who decides which of these thefts are worthy? And that lad at the end robbing more booze, was that the same guy from a different angle? Do Aldi/Lidl not have security in store? In Dunnes they'd be watching the cameras and that guy at the end would have been caught.
I recognised a guy in the previous months episode. Couldn't get get a repeat watch to confirm though.
Yeah the UK version was full of serious crime, they never did any shoplifting stuff. Part of me wonders if the supermarkets here has some sway to get this stuff shown because there must surely be a lot more serious crimes they could be showing like drunken assaults on the streets and aggravated burglaries, the kind of stuff where victims end up with serious injuries. Theres a lot of CCTV out there so it cant be lack of available footage when the program is only on once a month.
IME Aldi/Lidl only have security in stores in rougher areas and where their stock control is showing shoplifting is a problem. Theres no security in the Aldi or Lidl I use now but I lived in an area before that had a bit of an edge to it and both of them had security. I read before their aisles are designed with that in mind, a security guard can see all the way down them from behind the tills.
The Lidl I go to is in Ballyfermot and I haven't seen security. Maybe they're there in the evening but not when I go. I'm not sure if they expect staff to confront thieves or if they have calculated that losses through theft are less than the cost of paying security to be there permanently.
It's shown on RTE1+1 , can't recall when it hasn't .
BBC only put their version on Iplayer for 1 day , it's something to do with identity issues in court
Its amazing some of our Woke crowd arent objecting to criminals been shown on National TV or on about privacy issues for CCTV footage,
they aren’t, yet here you are. Back to your woke mentioning contest at reddit.
Holy Moly, Sharon tonight!
Sharon wow!!!!!😳😳😳😁😁😁
Why do they still have audio recordings with mobile phone level quality?
Wonder will Conor McGregor's pub feature on the CCTV tonight, someone firebombed it in January but he seems to be taking a different angle to resolve....
UFC star Conor McGregor has offered a €50,000 reward for information on a firebomb attack on his Dublin pub.
In his appeal McGregor said: “Hey guys. I have a 50k reward cash in all 100 crisp untouched notes. Not a wrinkle on them.
“The no wrinkle green backs. I call them yum-yums. For whoever tells us who this little deli-chicken head is.
“The walk, run, and scrawny build all very distinctive.
“Nothing will be said, but done. Reach out to who can reach me. Look forward to doing business,” he added along with a euro note emoji.
