I'm leaving it out because I literally dont have time for it!
What other topics are you covering if you dont mind me asking?
Is it safe to leave out Due Course of Law for Constitutional? Effectively covering everything else to some degree
I honestly thought it was and I failed the last sitting partially because of it so I would cover the very basics for it incase!
Yeah, I am thinking the same, and I think it was up the last sitting..
I am covering -
Thanks! Covering the same as you but with Oireachtas as well to be safe.
Yeah, I am afraid of the two in a row! Have you notes on it by any chance?
Thanks, I'm covering the same! Any possibility you might have up to date exam papers and reports? Mine only go up to 2018, thanks!
hey guys - wondering if you can bring in a constitution that has article numbers highlighted? no commentary just highlighter.
also wondering if anyone has a constitutional grid they wouldnt mind sharing? that would be amazing.
thanks in advance
Hi sorry I know people are in the thick of exams but has anyone ever applied to the law society for an extension on the time to complete all 8.
I wonder with covid will they allow extra time?
Has anyone got notes for Liberty and family? I have most other chapter notes in return if needed!
When are results typically out after the March sitting? I still have constitutional but trying to see the light at the end of a very dark tunnel 😂
Last year March results were released the 24th of May!
Covering 13 topics for Constitutional and I still don't feel like it's enough. Never been more nervous for an exam!
What topics are you covering?
Hi,
I am sitting the trademark law exam, the end of April, through work. I'm just looking for some guidance from anyone who has sat this exam.
Thanks in advance for any help :)
what do you mean by extension? is there a specific time limit? I know there is a five year max period between finishing your exams and obtaining a training contract, or do you mean the five year period all 8 must be completed?
Hi deco, apologies, the time limit is 7 years. Its best to contact the law society on this - I would imagine they may be hesitant to provide same given the option of sitting online exams and at most, may only extend the period for the two sittings in which in person exams were not permitted and solely online. 7 year limit begins on the 31st December of the year you first passed your first fe1 examination. Best of luck as I'm sure it wouldn't be 'pleasant' to resit them
Hello, does anyone have a constitutional exam script? Feeling desperate!!
are city colleges constitutional predictions good? My lecturer hasn't flagged a couple of things that he mentioned in the notes and im wondering if its worth looking into those more
Anyone have the link to night before notes for constitutional?
https://citycolleges.ie/night-before-notes-2022/
Going by last year…. I would guess towards the end of May!!!
What did people think of constitutional???
On constitutional exam, for question 3, the Climate Act 2022 Levy, am I correct in assuming it was SOP under article 15 and possibility of the levy amounting to penalty/liability if execissve?
I used, SOP Art 15 - some aspects of judicial power - presumption of constitutionality and locus standi. Would that be correct in peoples view - or should due process have been discussed?
Omg I did no delegation for that question
I was thinking the same and trying to figure it out but didn’t mention anything about it been excessive. If you figure it out, let me know if you don’t mind!
Apologies, yes I mean non-delegation of art 15
You gave me a heart attack there!
What was the question on the personal injury claim? I answered with fair procedure & locus standi, but I've a feeling that was wrong :(
