You would nearly buy a Cosworth for that money. It must be the least desirable version of that model.
I'm not sure if you'd be buying much of a Cosworth for €15k?
Whatever about what it cost him in 2007 which bears no real relevance to its market value now adding on the €5k for the cost of insurance and the 'odd repair' since is bemusing.
I.6 non vtec and god knows how many lads have had their way with it. 9.5k.
It's been reduced.... To €7995. Don't laugh out too loud
By comparison, for a lot, lot less, you could have this glorious machine and fix all the niggly issues it has with plenty of change left over
Christ on a bike
One identical to that sold on the honda forums for 2k last week.
That's **** insane.
Down to 12950 now, at this rate he'll finally have it listed somwhere near its actual value sometime close to christmas.
He 's buckling faster than I thought .I reckon if he halves that - he might get some interest .
I'd say he will be in for a long haul all the same
Realistically a 14-16k car, you've a fairly limited market for them but 27k is madness
What's with all the red. Looks stupid. He is off the head with the price too.
Thats how it was in Japan, seen it in the auctions but dont know what it sold for
The more I see **** like this the more I wanna bring something in from the UK and double my money.
That's absolutely ridiculous.
Today in #SaabPriceWatch he's dropped to 11950. No courage of his convictions
Even weirder is he says it cost him €10,000 back in 2007. I have a hard time believing someone paid 10k (even more with inflation) for a knacked, then 22 year old Saab in need of a carburettor and gearbox rebuild with 200,000 miles.
I was hoping by now he would at least have a second photo up !
Realistically, how much is it worth? 5k maybe? I doubt anyone will even pay 10k for that. Looking to get the rebuild money and tax and insurance back is a little optimistic.
€10k for an automatic IS200 with 160k miles
The auto box in them is proper old school Toyota too. Not exactly sporty!
In a way, it’s sad to know that some ape will buy it and ruin it. Those Sport Designs were a nice enough car.
You know that meme about the BMW E60 ownership demographic (middle ages business man to drug dealer to kebab shop owner); someone should make one for the first gen Lexus IS.
No doubt the is200 is very popular with younger lads in Ireland and I wouldn't turn my nose up to one, but i drove one about ten years ago and was passenger in an altezza they just dont feel quick - i also think "im Alan Partridge i drive a lexus" when i see one
They aren’t popular because of power though. It’s a bit like the AE86 isn’t fast either, they’re popular because they can be drifted, do a few spins at a crossroads and driven around the town making noise.
That one will obvs need a manual conversion. Nobody’s gonna to big money for an auto either.
But above all else it's because they can take the abuse.
2011 poverty spec golf for €12k. Seller says price is increasing to €12.5k after its NCT’d.
Jaysis.
Be very happy to get half that price with a new NCT.
He is off his head with the VW.
Also mentioned in the ad how all the driving in the last few years was only city driving in Dublin and London. As if that is a positive.
Genuine hubcaps. €15.5k.
It does look clean though on the outside. I'm not so impressed with the interior. Steering wheel is well worn. If you are mad or psychotic enough to pay what he is looking for you would really want to check the undercarriage considering age. Imagine paying that much and it is rotting.
