The above needs to be done to it, the Ukrainians are putting up some fight with what the general population is witnessing in Mauripol and Kherson, everyday Ukrainians know they need to fight to stay free at all costs as the alternative faith is unthinkable, Putin seen the Taliban in Afghanistan and thought he had the blue-print for Ukraine
If it were me, if there's a buyer at market (?) price, sell it, use the funds to buy what Ukraine needs to win the war. Or, house refugees on it, putrid does love his (former) "standing" in the world, it'd drive him nuts. Or, strip it, sell the parts, buy what Ukraine needs. Everything seized from people or entities linked to putrids regime should go towards the good guys war effort in some way, imo.
Be interesting to see if the ship in Berdyansk did sink, when I seen the pics this morning I thought the strike looked to be on the port more than the ship, but hopefully they got a 2-4-1.
Was that an attempt to land troops in Berndyansk. If it was there could be serious losses on the Russian side. A troop ship could have thousands on board.
They had already captured it iirc. A contested amphibious landing wouldn't go well for the russians. It's why they haven't tried, yet.
In other wonderful news, a former russian culture minister and possibly chairman of the united russia party (putrids "party", but parties there aren't what we would recognise as parties here) has said the existence of russia is in danger. If you remember, peskov said on his CNN interview, that's putrids red line for using nuclear weapons.

We're still stuck looking at all the pro UKR, anti RU (or maybe RU are hapless) tweets and articles. We badly need balance. Has anyone started looking for what the Russians are putting out on social media across the world. Seems they aren't putting anything much out in the West, but I read previously that they are fierce active in India, China, Africa, etc.

How many Ukrainian fighters would you think were killed. Watching the news you'd think it was a handful at most. Must be similar if not multiples of the Russians killed.

A Russian press outlet accidentally released the Russian figures (10k Russian soldiers killed). Which would put it in line with current estimates (extraordinary losses for 4 weeks of conflict)
We don't know exactly how many Ukrainian soldiers have been killed, but we know the Ukrainians have been destroying Russian military equipment and vehicles at the rate of 3 to 1 (visually confirmed with photographic/video proof by independent sources). Based on that I would reckon less Ukrainian army deaths. Ukrainian manpower is around 200k professional soldiers (give or take) and almost 1 million reservists (with some military training in the last 5 years), plus several 10's of thousands of foreign fighters and expat Ukrainians of various experience/skill levels returning to fight.
Some unconfirmed reports that Mariupol is under russian control. Bad news for the good guys if that's the case as some forces will be available for redeployment. Likely to bolster the attempt to encircle Ukrainian forces in the Joint Forces Operation area (I think that's what it's called), basically the Ukr forces that were in contact with the mickey mouse republiks.

Saw a piece by a US General. Normally you can expect 3-1 injured to killed. That would mean 30K Russian injured soldiers. However the Russian mediVac is supposed to be very poor so it probably less.
The US over the last twenty years in all there conflicts have lost 7k killed. Russian I jured must still be running up on 20 k. Ukraine is fighting a defensive battle. It losses would be lower unless they were overwhelmed. This has not happened. It's civilian deaths and injuries would be horrific as Russia is not seen to have very little guided military technology.
I've seen a line of thought that the russians do have guided munitions, but are keeping them back in case of a conflict with NATO.
You mean they don't have a lot of them. Right now they can't nuke the Ukraine as they will nuke thousands of their own.
