Just wondering what Galway's like at the moment for going out,
Is it busy on weekends again ,
Heading down on a stag in April is it back to anything like pre-covid days ?
The short answer is yes IMO.
Speaking from experience, the west seems to be a lot busier than the square or shop street, both daytime and evening. Carroll’s seems to be busy anytime after 3, salthouse and bierhaus also nice spots
The West isn't really a stag area, bar Monroe's really, thankfully. The likes of Bierhaus are great because they're laid back and have great beer, proper cocktails and food. Stag and hen parties can stick to Quay and High Streets.
Where is the West?
West of the Corrib. Dominick street and beyond. Monroes, Roisins, Massimos…
What pub would you guys recommended for a group of 10 on a Saturday to watch soccer for the day ?
McGettigan's, Prospect Hill. Nothing down west. Don't be going down there.

As the pubs get busier downtown they actively encourage Stags to leave by turning off the TV for music or to pop adverts on.
I can see their point, McGettigans sell it as a sport bar.
Pucan could be a back up spot
Pucan or McGettigans. They're close by too, so it's handy. Be careful of Pucan though as they are liable to show random rugby games on the big screens too, with the soccer in the background on small screens.
Harry's is a couple mins away and should show all the soccer too.
