OK. Weird thing to claim.
What's the conspiracy theory you were referring to then?
You will of course note I haven't once claimed the restrictions are permanent.
I mean I haven't followed the thread for obvious reasons given its length, but I merely proposed an idea among what reads as an echo chamber against some unhinged CT posting (if it's okay to call some CT posting as unhinged in the CT forum), that taking a step back and following through on some of the views that "COVID hasn't gone away" in the current context of COVID being barely a cold for effectively 100% of the population, I would wonder if that fear or suspicion of COVID also goes hand in hand with a belief that restrictions could return in some form, in which case is that not essentially what the CT in this thread is arguing?
Sorry this is just rambling nonsense.
It's also just based on some silly premises. You seem determined to keep declaring that covid was no big deal.
To me it seems like you can't let this go and still want to argue this silly point.
You don't seem to actually have a point yourself and it looks more like you're doing a lot of projecting.
But at least you agree the conspiracy theories presented here are all false.
Addressed your point directly. Which is basically a complaint that the Covid forum on boards is still open, what does that have to do with conspiracy theories? Do you believe it's a part of some conspiracy, if so, what is it?
As for your "CT believers" being hypocritical, okay, why do you hold this view when you've posted conspiracy stuff in here previously?
The conspiracy in this thread here is about restrictions being permanent or at least just a front for a larger State or more powers to the State to intrude in people's lives. I think this is not believable at all, as do many of the post in this thread. That is nearly conclusive to be honest.
However, I was trying to introduce a new angle whereby the group of people that still have anxiety about COVID to the point where they feel restrictions should be reintroduced or at the very least the powers to introduce them should be retained; are they not, consequently, arguing in favour, to some extent at least, that COVID restrictions should be (semi-)permanent? Particularly in the current context of successfully deployed vaccines, weak variants and no restrictions; there is little to no evidence COVID is any worry anymore in Ireland.
I meant to phrase my hypocritical comment to direct it towards certain arguments against the CT in this thread, not the CT proponents, so apologies as it reads like I call both hypocritical.
Okay fair enough. What is the conspiracy behind your new angle?
Most people don't use cash anymore for obvious reasons. The pandemic also sped it up. I am 99% non-cash now.
So is the theory now that the pandemic was faked to make people use cards rather than cash?
Whats wrong with using card? Havent really used cash in years.
Gotta disagree with just about everything here
Not sure what "card folk" are. Everyone I know uses cards and cash. We are increasingly using cards (because they are handier) and using cash less and less. Typically as a backup.
That is all nonsense.
They show you the card machine everywhere I go, never hand over the card, or actually my phone or watch.
Get a notification immediately from my bank for every transaction and the amount.
The lack of cash is a problem, but only because I have to find cash to give the kid to pay for breakfast at school in the morning and kids are otherwise not encountering money as we would so are not learning the value of money in the same way, if at all.
Italy still has all Covid restrictions in place to this day. Vaccine passport is mandatory in order to have a job. Any job.
People over the age of 50, regardless of their employment status must be vaxed.
The restrictions, at least for some counties, are permanent at this point.
Vaccine certs are still in use all over most of the E.U as far as I know so I guess Italy aren't that unusual I suppose. Still masks mandatory as well. I wonder are they suffering some sort of collective PTSD after what happened there in the beginning? The news reports from northern Italy in March / April of 2020 were pretty harrowing.
i have never experienced any of those issues when using card payment.
Italy are removing all covid restrictions on May 1st. Including the green health pass for people over 50.
The restrictions, at least for some counties, are temporary at this point.
Well lets pretend this is all true and you aren't just lying or exargerating like you lot have been doing this entire thread.
So the covid restrictions are all permanent only in Italy. Ok. Cool.
Why? Why only Italy?
Can you share your source of this?
I haven't heard any confirmation to that, also no confirmation of lifting the vaccine mandate for people above the age of 50, and finally no confirmation of removing the color coding system that was put in place 2 years ago to restrict traveling from region to region.
Instead they started to push around the risks of infection from the Omicron 2 and the need to evaluate new restrictions due to increasing cases
What other countries in EU are mandating the vaccines? i'm only aware of Italy and Austria.
A pretty easy search reveals that the mandate is gone from Friday. The mask rules largely gone from May 1st. No idea on the colour coding. But all the other info is simple to surface via a search... Being perpetually outraged must interfere with your search ability.
The frog is well boiled at this stage.
A lot of restrictions ending today
Nearly all on May 1st
Googling "Italy covid" would've got you the same results.
Do your research people!
Actually, what they are saying is that from 1st May all people above the age of 50 will still required to have a negative test in order to enter the workplace. Every 48 hours. At the cost of 15 EUR each.
That's hardly the end of the restrictions.

they could just get the vaccine which negates the need of a test?
Hence why I said "a lot" and "nearly". Theres a few left.
But look at the thread title.
I love people scrambling around the internet desperately looking for restrictions in countries. Gas craic. Plan is for all restrictions apart from healthcare to be gone by mid June. So the over 50s have 6 weeks of testing themselves. A temporary restriction. Italian government have let the state of emergency law expire after 2 years.
The NWO globalist communist elites won't be happy.
Interest in this is waning so posters should just let it die a natural death
they are.
the ardent CTers who tried to tell us "covid was a global conspiracy to make us all take a DNA altering vaccine, and all restrictions were permanent in order for the gubberment to control us"... well, they have all slunk away with their tails between their legs an their lies blown out of the water.
so this thread will die a natural death when all restrictions are gone, which is in the very near future
Oh I am sure many will be back. Maybe a few new accounts. One does not simply stop being a conspiracy theorist.
Luk 21:10 Then he went on to say to them, "Nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
Luk 21:11 There will be great earthquakes and famines and plagues in various places, and there will be fearful events and awful signs from heaven."
they'll be asked to wear a mask in a health setting, peak flu season, or during an increase in covid cases, and be back here pissing a moaning
