Yea I'd be shocked if even happens this year
Wouldn't be bad support tbh
The Saw Doctors have said on their Facebook page that they'll be announcing some news today....
Apologies double post
Gurriers live @ Workmans this Wednesday (Paddy's Eve) & its free in.We're on stage at 12:50 am (so technically Paddy's Day) and we're off to the UK to do some shows with Enola Gay shortly after...should all be fairly unruly for anyone interested in that sort of thing.
Some big UK gigs, don't think they could get dates in the Gaiety around November/December. Hopefully they can get something out West - would be some craic.
Saw there's a new festival in Slane from 8th to 10th July. https://www.othersidefestival.ie/ Between that Beyond The Pale and Night and Day seems to be a few new festivals popping up.
Nile Rogers and Chic playing the Marquee on the 28th June https://twitter.com/TicketmasterIre/status/1504019660219588609?t=0_I7PaK9wb2NaOB8ZM4sBw&s=19
The final sign that COVID is over.....
17th Appearance in 10 years in Ireland, more impressive when you consider we were locked down for 2 years of that decade - can't be many international artists to beat that (apart from the ones that play 6 nights each year around the country).
Always a great gig.
Had no idea Health were playing in the Academy. Great band, tickets purchased
Florence and the machine - 3Arena - November 30th 2022
Mabel playing Fairview Park on 28th June. https://twitter.com/TicketmasterIre/status/1505846709368373250?t=pigKUuKWZCxJNO6Opcv74g&s=19 Think that's the 8th gig announced for there.
Do we have any idea of the capacity? I'm imagining around 5-6k.
From this it seems to be less than 5,000 as licence not needed then but as it's an old article (from November) not sure if it's changed since. https://www.independent.ie/regionals/dublin/dublin-news/up-to-seven-concerts-planned-for-fairview-park-next-summer-41062068.html
Machine Gun Kelly playing 3Arena on 9th October. https://twitter.com/mcd_productions/status/1505831604358418434
They will put any old rubbish in the 3Arena now.
Is he even popular in Ireland ?
Wouldn't have thought so but guess at that time of year without outdoor venues probably a case of seen to be too big for next biggest indoor venue maybe.
He's huge with the tiktok crowd, and has fairly straddled the rock and rap spectrum, he'd be too big for the Olympia anyway, and I could easily see him selling out the smaller configuration.
Yep every Instatwat in the country will be at it.
H&M will run out of Metallica t shirts bought by people who never heard Metallica that week.
Fontaines DC playing Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Derry and Belfast in November/December.

It seems being a total nobbler is what rubs people up the wrong way regardless of whatever music he's putting out.
Pop punk was never really my thing but to my minimal knowledge of it his last album was surely up with the best stuff of when it had it's heyday and surely better than anything his drummer has been involved in too since the first Transplants album at the very least ha.
German Minimal Techno legend Boris Brejcha is playing a gig at Here N' Now, 39/40 Arran Quay Dublin on Saturday April 2nd tickets a very reasonable 27.84 - 38.97 Euros, worth checking out sh1t hot banging techno.
OOOOHHHH MAN ....
Durand Jones and The Indicators playing Limerick and Dublin in September https://twitter.com/durand_jones/status/1506271027810258946?t=1ARPFd2bNr4KoiNWy5NJWA&s=19
From Overdrive.ie
'If today's Primus announcement wasn't enough for you, keep your eyes on www.overdrive.ie tomorrow at 10 am for crushing gig announcement.
Stand by.....'
Who we guessing ?
Trivium would be nice but they have announced a European tour already
Maybe it's Nine Inch Nails announcing a date too add to the UK tour
Think will have to go to Primus, a rare Saturday gig suits nicely
I would of Euro leg of the Ghost and Volbeat Co headline tour but very doubtful. Half capacity 3Arena would be perfect for it
