Good to see them standing by their fellow Jew. Like you say, a scummy nation. Cosy up to the Americans but have one hand down Putins jocks at the same time.
Nothing to do with Russians in Israel. It's the fact that Russia is on Israel's border and controls the skies over Syria.
Good article from 2020 showing how extrajudicial executions were the norm for petty crimes in Slovyansk after 2014, a chilling reality of the laws Russia follows and would self impose on Ukraine:-
"According to documents, the fates of all three men were decided by so-called “military tribunals” established by Igor Girkin, a former Russian intelligence officer better known at the time by his nom de guerre Igor Strelkov, on the basis of a draconian law conceived by dictator Josef Stalin and imposed shortly after Germany invaded the Soviet Union in World War II. The decree handed down by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the U.S.S.R. on June 22, 1941, and invoked by Girkin and his Russia-backed forces in 2014, allowed for capital punishment -- a penalty abolished by Ukraine in 2000 and not imposed in Russia, where a moratorium has been in place since 1996 -- for crimes Girkin called “grave” but ranged from petty theft to murder"
Not to mention they have Roman and his billions to keep happy now hes a citizen. Yes they're sitting very much on the fence aren't they....
I got to the second sentence before you made a howler. Iraq was not a NATO war. This is not a pedantic point and was a major major issue at the time. I'm not trying to be patronizing here, but you are extremely muddled and could do with sharpening up what you're trying to say, if indeed you're trying to say anything worth hearing at all.
You want NATO to do something but won't declare what.
You're making up wars the treaty alliance wasn't involved in.
You're condemning them for intervening in certain places but decrying them for not getting involved in others.
FYI, the Security Council mandated NATO mission in Afghanistan had wrapped up and been handed over to Afghanistan forces with US air cover and limited ground troop deployments long before the events of last year. A not unimportant point. It's one you'll miss, but it's an important one.
Sounds extremely sinister. What happens to the same residents if the city 'doesn't' surrender to the illegal invaders?
Interesting that you think Israel should deeply involve itself because the president is Jewish. Hypothetically, if he was Irish and Ireland had Russia on its border....would you be okay going gung-ho against the Russians?
The failure of the Americans was giving Syria to Russia. This has hobbled Israel with regards to any action against Russia.
concentration camps most likely as is the RuSSian playbook
Kyiv - The Tragic History of Ukraine's Capital - Mark Felton historian, done his piece on it a few hours ago
Could be nothing more than meaningless words, but, judging by their actions thus far likely to see increased indiscriminate bombings of whatever is left I would think, would Russia be bold enough to use a (low yield) nuclear bomb I wonder, then the next day you would see "Kyiv has until 5am to surrender....."
It wouldn't be the first time such a tactic led to surrender in war.
I think we all know the answer. They get killed too for protecting "Nazis". While the West again does f*ck all but utter platitudes and call for dialogue
I'd be worried almost in equal measure for those surrendering and those staying to fight. It's sickening to think of it.
Zelensky isn't asking them to bomb Russia, just to supply defence weapons and apply sanctions or even condemn Russia unequivocally.
All roads lead to Rome.
It would appear so.
It was NATO in all but name, coalition of the willing, or whatever you want to call it. At the end of the day its the same actors with the same MO and the same result. Play in semantics all you want but if you go through the list of countries involved its basically a whos who of NATO.
BTW the US air cover never materialised and most of the mechanics required to run it was either removed from the country or abandoned to the Taliban. You can pretend that it was an orderly handover but it was the equivalent of showing a toddler how to spoon feed then turning around and going "well I've shown you how to fend for yourself, I'm off".
Where did I say they should deeply involve themselves. The very least they should do is have compassion for a fellow Jew and his people who are being persecuted and annihilated by a dictator. It might ring a small bell with them.
They certainly shouldn't be harbouring Putins lackeys and sucking up to the twisted little dwarf himself. The Isrealis always play both sides of the fence.
"It was NATO is all but name"
Emmm, No it wasn't. I'd advise you to do a bit of homework on that one. As George Bush famously blundered to John Kerry: "You forgot Poland" when he was being pilloried for the fact the participating countries basically only amounted to the US, UK, and Australia.
As for Afghanistan, I'll repeat, the NATO mission ended long before the events of last year - 2014 to be exact.
Likely fake, but you just don't know what to believe anymore:-
tonight and new iron curtain is falling across Ukraine from Crimea in the south to Sumy in the north
Go ahead, enlighten me. Who were the players in this coalition of the willing.
The pretence of a "special operation" has long since gone out the window. I wonder why they are still so terrified of using the War word.
Ah okay, let's see how this plays out.
1) Israel sends Ukraine weapons
2) In retaliation, Russia allows Iran to entrench in Syria on Israel's border and closes the skies to Israeli planes
3) Russia starts to arm Iran with S-400's etc.
Fortunately the decision makers in Israel are brighter than you.
Surely fake, surely they have millions more over 18 males to conscript first.
Conscripts make terrible soldiers. Young, no motivation and not trained. Now, this would be out of Stalin's playbook. Can't be true.
No they don't , Israel bomb Syria from the air several times a week , every week for the last number of years, Russia made threat's , but Israel keeps flying in to Syria ,and Russia knows if they target an Israeli aircraft over syria , Israel will wipe out Russian forces inside Syria and destroy their new port
Did Russia not already have merceneries?
Because it allows them an out with respect to the legalities.
Probably the same reasons German POWs were called "DPs" after the war. It meant any binding agreements didn't apply.
How about you fire up the old search bar yourself. It was not a NATO operation de-jure or de-facto.
You made a howler, take the L.
