Assuming the price of most of the base M3 competitor cars don’t increase, you’d have to think the sales numbers will suffer, considering the spec is now completely dictated by the grant.

I said this the other day. I think Tesla will use the downturn in new orders to get existing orders shipped and then hopefully put prices back down when everything settles.
We can all fall into the trap of being introverted. What is clear is that Tesla have increased their prices across all of their global markets, to some extent not unexpected and the cut off threshold of 60K for SEAI grant is unique to Ireland (and confined to one Tesla Car Model 2 RWD) . As long as demand exceeds supply across their markets I don't expect any early downward movement in prices. It may also just serve to increase numbers/demand for the other Model 3 as the gap before were distorted by availability of grant.just a view

I have an M3 LR order locked in for august before the price increases so just have to decide what to do now.
Sit tight...its all positive from your perspective since you made that decision. The SEAI grant seems not to be a factor for you given your order the LR as opposed to RWD.
My biggest conundrum is whether I want to give up my Model S Performance to be honest.
Cost to change is very low considering the strong trade in value. Yes I’ll loose the MS and the P but the new car, warranty and 90% of the performance might be sufficient.
The trade in price is secure for 60 days. They will re-evaluate in 60 days. Might be up or might be down.
They also re-evaluate for mileage too.
I guess its personal choice. I suggest you book another test drive in the M3 LR with one objective and one objective alone. To ask yourself from a driving perspective "Would I be happy with this car?" At least that way you you will be decisive and stop teasing yourself with these first world dilemas!
Anyone else finding the new Matrix lights very poor. Mine was in last week where they adjusted them from blinding oncoming traffic, but after were very low, makes driving at night dangerous. Have tried bringing up a bit, ok now when dipped but main beam poor. They say will probably need to go in for a day, appears to be more than just a problem with leveling.
After being used to the good lights on my previous VW and Xenons prior to that, these are a disappointment. They also say that a replacement car may not be available when I book a service but will give an Uber to get around city. Not much good when I live in rural Co Wexford and miss a work day..
Call them and ask for a schedule date when a loaner will be available..
I did something similar but with the office out there.. booked the service for a day I could have the little office, as even though I live in Fingal, I couldn’t be arsed having to deal with an additional 2 trips over the M50.
Not quite, any colour but red, red makes cost 60.5k without any other changes. Lucky I ordered red with hitch just beforehand for 53.6k
Just have a plan B if you do reschedule.
I rescheduled an appt specifically to get a loan car and had to wait 6 weeks. Then when I rang them the day before the rescheduled appt, they said they didnt have one available.

My car was registered on Monday and I can access motortax with it. However it still doesn’t show up on insurance websites. I guess because of bank holiday? Chill doesn’t let you progress without a registration
The insurance websites pay for access to a host site. The host site updates after the official government site.
It’s takes a few extra days.
If cartell recognises your reg so would the insurance companies. With some exceptions.

Unusual one here, I have a model 3 ordered and have completed all the parts on the account for payment method etc. I had selected hire purchase and chosen the preferred provider AIB as my payment method. However every couple of days I get a text message and an email to remind me to "complete your payment method". - has anyone had this issue before?
I did HP, u don't fill out the forms and sort that until just before collection. I'd say ignore.

From talking to one of the guys in Sandyford, the online APR is rounded up. The actual APR is slightly lower.
I got an email on Friday about providing my bank details to refund the excess equity on my trade-in. The only thing is I have no excess equity, it's full value is going against the new car. I've asked for clarification on this but haven't heard anything since. Has anyone else had this?

I got the text with my Vin today and my account is now asking for final payment. Have done a small test payment and will check this afternoon to make sure it shows in my Tesla account before making bigger transfers.
They must have just assumed that you have outstanding finance on your current car.
