As for your claim of Russia controlling "90% of the world's material to make micro chips", I presume you are referring to Ukraine's neon, which exports over 50% of the supply used in chip manufacturing lasers. Yeah that has already had an impact, but Taiwan has reserves and see's no short term issues and the US/Japan are going to work on creating more supply.

The Kremlin has just rushed a whole bunch of desperation laws through the Duma, one of which literally allows the state to plunder Russian's bank accounts, and that was only 2 weeks in, that's panic. The world is going to take an economic hit from this, but for Russia it's going to be a lot more severe.
