Unless Mick Wallace is deliberately cultivating his unkempt appearance in order to hide his true nature as a calculating politician of the highest order, I don't think he, or Clare Daly, have been 'got at' as such. Going on Occam's Razor, the likes of Russia are just taking advantage of their contrarian nature, trying to see all sides of things all the time, and give Wallace/Daly a bit of nice treatment such as letting them go on Russia Today. That's what I think is usually the case when someone is accused of being a 'Russian asset', not literally getting instructions from the Kremlin via shortwave data burst transmissions.
He may win the battle, but he will for sure lose the war..something radically wrong with an army that has to ask other Country's for something as basic as MRE's, weapons and troops. His army is demoralized, and desertion is common. Even at home in Russia, opposition is building against him, witness the draconian laws he has introduced to try and stem dissent. He's an evil bastard, and is quite prepared to destroy what he cannot have. But ultimately, he will lose. For Sure!!!.
Is this for real? Did Russia actually say this about Bosnia?
Imagine the bewilderment amongst Russian commanders and troops to the orders that under no circumstances are they to attack the Azov batallion. The loss of the Azov batallion would be a massive blow to Russias interests.
'What do you mean we can't blame the Azov battalion? You what? When was this? Bring me that pilot and his commander.'
Guys, don't let the troll wind you up. If they come back with the same kind of rhetoric they will soon be despatched.
Often being 'got at' is as simple as offering MEP junkets to all expenses paid conferences and 'fact-finding missions' or as unofficial 'election observers' to sh*tbox autocracies on the dime of foreign embassies in Brussels. The EU has apparently tightened up on this in recent years. Several MEPs were raked over the coals for taking freebie trips to Azerbaijan for instance. I think I recall an Irish MEP was involved (not Mick or Clare to be clear).
Only used 1 time, low milage, have a few scratches from RPGs and anti tank missiles ,and miss a few roadwheels

Would you ever f**k off with that sh!t.
PUT IT IN H!
"Don't join the alliance that prevents us invading you or we'll invade you."
I don't think that it's exactly the first time in history where one country invaded another and got to keep some of the captured territory as part of a peace agreement. Looking at it from a realpolitik point of view, Ukraine may be amenable to the idea of at least officially ceding Crimea in return for reparations and hard guarantees on future security, maybe with the U.S. as a guarantor. Realistically, Ukraine was never getting Crimea back anyway.
Take her for a test drive and you'll agree, Zagreb ebnen zloty dien
The western media has been a joke in all this. Sucking people in just as they did in 2003 when they went on and on about wmds in Iraq as a pretext for that war. George Galloway, who saw through the 2003 propaganda by the way, is also doing great coverage on this which you can find on his youtube channel.

I know, right! Poor Russia! All they wanted to do was to reclaim their former motherland! People get so fussed over a couple of thousand of civilians who die! And who hasn’t made a few nuclear war threats!
Bad Western media!!!
That POS Stevaen Segal would be standing there defending his good buddy, Vlad the Impaler II.
You didn't just tell us to follow George Galloway did you?
With all the world's post-Soviet experts at your disposal, OSINT groups etc contributing incredible amounts of valuable knowledge and expertise over the past few weeks, you advise us to follow the Celebrity Big Brother milk saucer guy who's in the pay of the Russian government via RT and formerly in the pay of the Iranian government?
And you opened up your contribution on this thread talking about propaganda? Please, for the sake of all that is good in the world, stop and think for a second would you?
Was only 13 of the MEPs that went for a "no" in that recent EU parliament vote on Ukraine including our 2 local heros & mad-lads (don't we Irish love-em when voting). Such an outre and fringe position that you'd have to imagine OLAF should take a very good look at them all if it is doing its job.
Russia have been recruiting journalists and politicians for a good few years now.
Then there were also the reports of them/Gazprom funding "Green" lobbiests to oppose nuclear. That's all before we even address the Gerhard Schroeder issue.
In reference to Ireland, either not one single journalist/politician/NGO has been approached by Russia (which I find hard to believe)...or they were approached by Russia and they haven't told anybody (which means they probably took the deal).
There needs to be a real investigation into this for Irish politicians and a good look at a lot of these Green Movements/Lobby Groups.
Deluded. When you control 90% of the worlds material to make micro chips you control global manufaturing and supply chains. When you control half the worlds food supply you control if people can eat or not.
Do you really believe Russia gives two ****'s about being able to buy Adidas trainers or Facebook.
Now countries are starting to raise interest rates and will have to for the next 9 months. The countries that need to worry is those in debt up to the eyeballs not one that can pay it off out off petty cash.
NO, I do not have to feel for him, and definitely don't.
I don't believe we have appropriate counterintelligence capacity in this country. There's no need to go all 'reds under the bed', but as a country, we're a wide-open target for this type of behaviour from autocratic countries.
Born March 2002, conscripted when he was 18 in 2020, died in 2022. RIP. Like thousands of others.
It is entirely my own speculation but might some Russian politician be looking at Russia post-Putin and thinking they would be safer in China than back home. Defections are is not new in the world.
For what it's worth Russian Troops 'Have Two Weeks Of Fighting Left' -- Intelligence (extra.ie)
I'd say that you will find that its not only the Ukrainians rejoicing when / if Putin is dragged though the streets ( figurately or realistically speaking) There will be a lot of Russians there too.
