You know there is a weird twist to tanks being dragged by John Deere tractors in Ukraine.
John Deere in US has been facing demands by farming organisations about "right to repair".
John Deere (and other major agri manufacturers) will not release software to allow farmers diagnose problems as they claim it is proprietary and then they pulled out the safety grounds excuse.
So farmers and small non John Deere mechanics found that Ukrainians were building software to hack into the John Deere systems.
Looks like John Deere should maybe ask them are they getting more power out of their kit to drag all those heavy tanks around.
