Kremlin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov on Wednesday said that Ukraine becoming a neutral state with a status comparable to Austria and Sweden is being discussed at talks with Kyiv and would be a “compromise”.
“This is an option that is being discussed now and that can be considered as a compromise,” Kremlin spokesman Peskov told journalists, raising hopes of an end to the biggest war in Europe since World War Two.
Well, if you're a region within Russia and are now sanctioned to the eyeballs.....could be a time to have a referendum. Imagine Putin ends up losing more regions because of this. I don't think he'd survive that.

The French can keep their Parisian ghettos if they want, but Poland has chosen a different path. Not all nations have to have the exact same policies you know.

The Polish people have answered the call. Like their Govt, they are their for Ukraine and in Kyiv, it is Warsaw and the Polish people who get the greatest thanks.

They are. And it became clear early on they were struggling. Around day 3 or 4 so I can imagine at this stage, they are absolutely decimated morale wise.

My point was that when these stories come out they can often be true but also lack a lot of evidence so it people should wait for more solid information before munching down some Daily Mail outrage cake.
