I want Putin tarred & feathered, and kept in a cage in a central square in Kyiv, relying solely on scraps of food from passers by to live on. He should be let out of the cage regularly to dig graves.
I'm not joking.
They are there for their ratings... Janas, authoritarian, has election next months. PiS , next authoritarian government, want to gain points as well after recent fallings...
Some people get easily taken in by a folksy swagger.
More fool them 😂
Yep, as others have said there will be some public recriminations against the 'generals' so as to put the blame on them rather than the Kremlin prick. Wouldn't be surprised if some of them 'disappear' or 'retire' to Siberia.
If they did so much damage to your country you would think the same....
Can't believe this folksy Russian outdoorsman, ended up being a Danish neo-Nazi on the run LOL. I spotted the accent straight away, but didn't have him down as a goose stepper. Poor chap and his injured mouth in childhood...
I think there are two negotiations going on with Russia.
1. Where Russia has a knife to the throat of Ukraine. Ukraine will give concessions to get Russia out of their country, and put a stop to the killing of their people.
2. Russia asking, erm, we've a deal done with Ukraine, why are there still sanctions ? That's when Russia/Putin finally realise their mistake.
It's not the Russian bear that's been woken, but the slumbering West realising its mistake in relying on Russia and CHINA!
Typical approach of dictators: launch a totally misconceived war and fire the generals when it goes wrong. Military should turn their fire on that stupid bast*rd and end the misery for everyone
It was obvious he was from somewhere in Scandinavia going by that accent.
The earlier poster said his accent had changed because of some dental work gone wrong lol.
Thought so. Actually if it's a pointless exercise why reply at all. last word merchant are you?
Makes a change from a 600 word insult I suppose.
A lot of NATO countries coming around to US's insistence on 2% of GDP on military. Sounds plausible 😅
Things moving fast - Can the last Russian soldiers in Ukraine make sure they leave the light on in Chernobyl!
Look, we can't go tarring all 'on-the-run Danish Neo-Nazi leaders hiding out in Russia' with the same brush. There's no good guys and bad guys in this story.
Putin preparing an off ramp... It was all the fault of the corrupt generals who sent our boys into battle with old broken down equipment? Cue show trial and purges? Lions led by pigs with their snouts in the trough?
There'll probably be a few allegations they were paid back handers by the CIA.
A fourth Russian major general has been killed in Ukraine. Eight other generals have been fired by Putin.
They'll have lads like this leading divisions before long:
And they'll still outrank Lukashenko 😁
I'm 5 minutes walk from the main foot crossing on the Ukraine border.
I've been doing what I can as an Irish man and a resident of Poland doesn't matter witch government party is in power I won't change what I have done or will do to help.
Rats deserting a sinking ship ha
Australian PM has left the door open to introducing sanctions against China, Australia’s largest trading partner, if Chinese president Xi Jinping’s regime were to provide military equipment to Russia.
The prime minister said his government would move in lockstep with its allies and partners in response to what he called Beijing’s “chilling silence” on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He said any move by China to arm Russia would be “an abomination”.

LOL
Easy to be a hero when you are in a place with good signal and can always have the phone charged.
Ok. Nothing of what I said was questioning about the concept of citizenship but you do you.
My point was that when these stories come out they can often be true but also lack a lot of evidence so it people should wait for more solid information before munching down some Daily Mail outrage cake.
Lavrov seems to have done a 180 on his belligerent thuggish talk a couple of weeks ago when they thought they'd steamroll Ukraine. Now it's conciliatory statements about "business like" discussions with Ukraine. Mate, you tried to take their whole country and got your arse kicked.
Except for Jo he didn't answer the call.
They are. And it became clear early on they were struggling. Around day 3 or 4 so I can imagine at this stage, they are absolutely decimated morale wise.
Maybe there is the odd motivated battalion but overall , very poor state they are in.
Not like Ireland, no? 🤣
The Polish people have answered the call. Like their Govt, they are their for Ukraine and in Kyiv, it is Warsaw and the Polish people who get the greatest thanks.
Berlin, Brussels and Paris, get a nod at the end as well though.
I hope Ukrainian highway patrol issue the Russians with speeding tickets. That's not on.
Was there drink taken?
Steady on mate. They've taken in 1.5m refugees. Just because they don't toe the EU (German and French) line all the time, doesn't mean the nation is some hellhole. The French can keep their Parisian ghettos if they want, but Poland has chosen a different path. Not all nations have to have the exact same policies you know.
Attack yesterday at Kherson airport.
Russian unit very man for themselves no orderly convoy here.
