That is some company they were keeping.
When you lie down with dogs........
Could you imagine the rant Mary-Lou and Pearse would go on in the Dail if the government deleted years of data to cover up links to dodgy activity.
The Streisland effect will kick in now as I'm sure every journalist in the country will be pouring over the archives to see what they deleted and who said it.
SF and their bedfellows.
Never forget what type of party SF is.
Dangerous extremists who will pin their hat to any tyrant if there is a vote in it for them
It is all here.
"Sinn Fein’s past hostility towards NATO ‘shows party was peeing into the wind, and it has come back to hit them in the face"
A very apt headline.
The guardian have their info wrong there - that guy is from Republican SF, which is different to SF
RSF != SF
Military caps and Che Guevara t-shirts as far as the eye can see.
So SF deleted 20 years of anti Eu and pro Russian articles today but it’s all part of a clean up of their website!!!
Nothing to see here.
Yeahhhh right.
This thread has never been so quite……
That is why I said 'bedfellows'
"Housekeeping" according to "Up the Ra" Cullinane.
That’s one way of putting it Pee…..
One wonders what other activities might come under the ‘housekeeping’ label?
Don't worry, they will release a book called, 'The History of Ireland and the EU according to Sinn Fein" by the time Christmas comes around.
In it, they will lie about how Sinn Fein is really a pro-EU party after all and that NATO isn't too bad.
Whatever about the money it's interesting that most of the Shinnerbots disappeared right after Twitter/Facebook/etc got turned off in Moscow. Clear evidence that Sinn Fein were a beneficiary of Putin's bot factories that were set up to destabilise western democracies.
Never thought about it that way before. Maybe their extra dole top-ups got cut and they have downed tools as a result.
But we all know there are the usual lurkers here
(Hello! :) )
Poor oul Pearse had a hard time on newstalk this evening.
Kieran Cuddihy (of all people!) went through his plans for dole increases, free money for everyone earning 60k or less plus vat free fuel...turns out he couldn't explain where they'd get around €700 million of the funds needed to cover it...
The best he could come up with was "but the government ....."
Yea. The tide is definitely turning. The media are starting to distance themselves from the Shinners as they realise the potential scandal of their links to Putin could destroy them.
SF are a deeply Eurosceptic political party. You need to understand that they are a populist party of isolationist nationalism at their core. Wouldn't give too much heed to what their youth wing are spouting out.
i do wonder are there sleuths working around the clock to trying to find direct links to Russia. it would most likely end the support from the people saying ah i might give them a go...
Hope to God they find it as i can´t stand the shower. Hypocritical, nauseatating charlatans. Waffling on about peace and neutrality while their armed wing killed women and children. it would actually sicken you.
“End the support of people saying they might give them a go”!!!
Not a chance…
Yes, that was interesting. Seen a few disappear all right.
"With Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, a central plank of Sinn Féin’s foreign policy has gone up in smoke. A party that has long equivocated over Putin’s brutal regime has felt compelled to ditch its previous positions and embrace new ones."
Where are all those posters who wanted us to discuss Sinn Fein policy positions? Look forward to someone setting out how wonderful their current foreign policy is.
Maybe we would be better discuss Sinn Fein's Orwellian approach to history.

"In London, Winston Smith is a member of the Outer Party, working at the Ministry of Truth, where he rewrites historical records to conform to the state's ever-changing version of history. Winston revises past editions of The Times, while the original documents are destroyed after being dropped into ducts known as memory holes, which lead to an immense furnace".
Sinn Fein Central at work. I will refer to it as the Ministry of Truth in future.
Connolly House and all it’s inhabitants very quiet these days.
I see MLMCD and Michelle hopped over the pond to the USA for Patrick’s Day.
Wonder were they in the ‘lie flat’ section of the plane?
A few prominent “all day merchants” have gone to ground over on Twitter alright. I presume the vast majority of them are just very sad men who have hundreds of accounts and spend all their days on social media defending SF. Nothing more coordinated than that.
Now if Dr Harold News is being paid by SF to produce “satire” then they’d want to review their hiring policies - I’ve seen funnier planning permission rejection letters.
Could be like their hero Fidel Castro who always flew first class. When asked why he said it was the aim of socialism that all workers should be able to aspire to fly first class.
Pearse is all fart and no follow through. He’s great doing his auld about to explode with indignation thing in the Dáil when reading from a prepared speech, but is utterly hopeless when getting interviewed on the TV or Radio. An intellectual lightweight I’d imagine.
I wonder what all those posters who were foaming at the mouth about our government ministers travelling think of that.
They have to meet the lads who paid $7500 for a four ball and $1000 a head for a steak dinner.
That lad is on Paddy C’s payroll. Formerly tweeted under his own name pretending to be a “legal executive” whilst actually a student. Now working at Paddy Cosgraves pet media project
Directors searches on CRO were published on Twitter a few times before (all publicly available info) that revealed a few links
What sort of thicks have SF manning the Ógra Twitter account?
"Nothing to see here" is correct. It's all been deleted
The thread has gone incredibly quiet. Where can all the shinners be?
They're certainly not up on Orwell Road picketing the massive Russian embassy. I've been up there several times and have to yet to see a shinner about. A few of their TDs (sans former resident of that leafy road Mary Lou) did do a photo op up there a couple of weeks ago but given their propensity for flooding the streets with activists at the drop of a hat their failure to direct their masses to Orwell Road (or the protests at the GPO) speaks volumes.
I hope all those young people who allow SF's promises about housing override their glorification of terrorists from 20/30 years ago will take note of SF's quietism on Putin's current terrorist attacks.
