@dannyc31 congrats to her. I found out i passed the interview stage on 4/2. I recieved my email asking for reference clearance etc around the 20/02 garda vetting was sent to me after i sent in all of my info. My Garda vetting only came back yesterday 14/3. So its just a waiting game now. I never recieved location choice. I am in Dublin. Hope that gives you some sort of timeline π

thanks :) so it looks like you might be only a week or two now away from an offer fingers crossed. so am i right in saying at this stage you have no idea yet what department you will be assigned too?
also in terms of the job references, i read somewhere that they look for some references from your current employer. is that true? it seems odd to me as at that stage you would of not handed in your notice so your current employer would have no idea you are planning to leave. would be a bit of a shock for them getting a call from the civil service looking for a reference lol. is this how it works or did i misread this?
Regarding references i got an email asking was it okay for them to approach my current employer i told them go ahead as my employer knew. So im gathering they give you time to tell your employer hope this helps
Congrats to ur partner on passing the interview! Its nerve wracking! I found out i passed my interview on 04/02 my garda vetting came back yesterday and u got an email to see if it was ok to talk to my refs so i had to talk to my current employer. It was a bit akward as i havent yet been issued a dept or start date. Hoping to hear soon. Hopefully ur partner wont be too long waiting as Dublin seems to move fast.

There are no windows/tabs open , she deleted her browsing history but still gets this message
Has anyone on here had this issue ? or know of a way to get around this ?She has to respond to the expression of interest by 3pm tomorrow
if she hasnβt tried different browsers I would recommend this and then email PAS first thing in the morning
She could possibly have it opened on her phone

I got the same message on screen. Make sure to close any other tabs that are open and then refresh the page. It worked for me.
Open it under the 'Incogneto' tab. I had this happen too and it was a lot of trial and error to make it work!
@dannyc31 Thanks.. i actually recieved my department today no location yet. Its all happenning so fast. I just got assigned this today after the garda vetting came back yesterday and after i gave them permission to contact my employer for references yesterday.

Are you sure you are doing it right? Are you using Chrome? You have to close the first public jobs tab because a new tab opens when you click the link in the message. After that is done you click refresh or F5 on the new tab.

Has anyone outside Co. Dublin been offered a position? I see that in Dublin it is moving pretty quickly. I've received an email from clearance people to select my location about 45 days ago, but I haven't heard anything back since.

I successfully passed my interview for Co Louth am in Batch 1 OOM 56
PAS requested a location form to be completed for Louth ( Dundalk)
Anyone know how quickly after that your called for pre clearance and offer (Fingers Crossed)

Hi guys, I just got a date for my interview but it's on the same day I'll be leaving the country for a few days (flight is at midday, interview at 10:45)
I've just emailed them and I'm waiting for a reply, does anyone know if its even possible to reschedule the interviews?
