Im out on a limb but you sir are floating in space
At this rate only a complete surrender by Russia will be acceptable.
Hon Ukraine 🇺🇦!
True, but they have decent bunkers/shelters. Had Putin been able to achieve a siege, it may have been a more dire situation than being shelled. They'd have been out of food in 2-3 weeks. No food, medicine or weapons would have been able to get in.
Gas how the Irish relate to them
Just a special fishing operation
Don't be fooled, that squatter piece of sh1t would just as soon rob a young families home.
These people are anarchist thieving criminal scum and are just using this as an excuse to do their usual scummy thing..
Hope the riot police broke some skulls there.
Our lot here certainly warrant closer scrutiny in this regard too…
I’ve suspected this for a long time, way too much gaslighting coming from the greens for years now. Very convenient for Russia to have Germany reliant on its gas.
Pentagon official: Russian forces do not have enough men and equipment to encircle Kyiv, let alone take it — Sky News
What we all suspected and incredibly bad optics on the overall operation. The rat in Moscow will be getting desperate.
Everyone underestimated the strength of the Ukrainian resistance and overestimated a corrupt laden low morale Russian army.
Are they buying time now?
Some people managed to flee Mariupol today which is a small positive. I don't know if Ukraine can spare the manpower but if the Russians are just sitting outside Kiev for the next few months is there any chance of counter-offensive moves in the South or should Ukraine continue holding their current positions as tightly as possible without risking losing them too.
While the Russians are making a mess of the country is time on the Ukranian's side. In that they are re-arming quicker with better tech. But I worry about the power and water situation for the main urban centres.
Why are these not being shot at// cocktailed
Ignore post 27605. Still trying to get a handle on how to use the system since it was restructured
The one scenario in which I might cheer for McGregor would if he was knocking seven shades of it out of Putin.
The Russians are struggling no doubt, the big question is there any possibility that the cornered Russian rat would go Nuclear?
Apparently, supplies and logistics are the main problem, especially in northern Ukraine (Kyiv). The Russians are finding it next to impossible to get equipment and supplies to the northern front from southern Russia.
Slowly slowly, catchy monkey Button. Realpolitik will come into play. And basic economics. Russia is an economic and political pariah. Their pariah status hasn't begun to bite. Cut off from international finance. Their only revenue left oil and gas and that tap is turning towards closed. Their oil reserves are to be found ever further north and they need international knowhow and investment to get at it. China is looking for a firesale of what they have. Cut off from international leasing agreements. Cut off from international insurance. It costs more to print their money than it's worth and down is the only way it's going. Their international political standing is cut off at the knees with only tinpot backwards crapholes supporting them. They can't even fly to anywhere that isn't a craphole and even then they have to weave their way around international flightzones to do it. They ran to Mali for troops and support. Mali. 😂
Russia under putin is... what's the term I'm looking for? Fúcked. And if putin doesn't know it yet, he will soon, as will his subjects. And if he doesn't pull his little willy in it will be worse than the Soviet Union he wants back. A declining population, a massive brain drain and none of the vassal states of the USSR that they relied upon in the past.
Let him demand what he wants He won't get it, or he won't get it for long. Ukraine will(should) get EU money. Keep the Yanks out of it as much as possible and the Chinese can go fish. The rebuilding process will enrich both Ukraine and the EU. Let them leave EU membership down the table. It's coming regardless. TBH I wouldn't be arsed with NATO for the present. That will get putin boy wound up because that's been his spin all along. Less so the EU and that's what will be much worse for him down the line and much better for Ukraine. If Ukraine gets her house in order. It's OK and veru expedient to be cheering on something like the Azoz militia at the moment when 'our' neo nazis are better than 'their' neo nazis, but they need to be frozen out in due time.
Maybe he's been told that Kiev has already fallen. Wouldn't surprise me with all the other bulls* his inferiors have been feeding him the last while.
The Russians should try and keep Putin in a Truman Show like reality but let the rest of the world watch for the craic. I jest but then think, God that might not be bad idea. I mean I don't think it'd take too many tweaks to the current paradigm anyway.
Militarily, politically and every other way you can imagine, it would be a disaster. Even if NATO didn't respond with nuclear weapons of their own (and they probably wouldn't), they would go into Ukraine and obliterate the Russian forces within days....it would be NATO plus the Ukrainian army against the Russians at this point.
Click on the post you’re replying to and a small bin button comes up (sometimes) at top, centre.
And in this scenario were Russia has used a nuke, they what just choose not to do it again while they're getting invaded.
It's gas how some of the people decrying the Russian bombardment of schools and hospitals won't have a word to say the next time Israel is doing it
Current list of Russian harware losses, you could equip nearly 4 tank battalions of the amount of tanks they've lost alone.

Its an ‘accident’ when ‘we’ do it is always the justification because ‘our’ intentions were righteous. Of course this shouldn’t make a difference.
Good to see folks coming together to work out accommodation solutions for the refugees
Personally I think they went with the nuke threat way too early in the invasion.
Hold on a sec now, the Greens were the only party against Nordstream 2
From 2020
"Green parliamentary group leader Franziska Schubert believed that stopping construction of the almost completed pipeline was right for many reasons and not only brought geopolitical considerations into play: "Partnership needs human rights as a basis." The violation of human rights in Russia is serious. The debate had been requested by the Greens. They took the poisoning of the Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny as an opportunity and basically wanted to talk about the partnership with Russia"

I just don't envisage Russia leaving Ukraine without them holding the levers of power.
Wasn't there meant to be a big protest today? Looks like that was a damp squid. When you see a shithole like North Korea and how much hold they have despite legit famines, extreme poverty, massive deprivation etc. etc. etc. and to be completely honest the Russians (as we've discussed the culture at length) with their history if anything seem primed to walk into a North-Korea style ultra-police state. I can't see Putin (or any Russian with a sniff of power) agreeing to anything that would leave them in a position that they can't just do an air raid at will going forward, and I can't see how Ukraine can agree to those conditions. The Oligarchs will get used to only living like Western multi-millionaires once they're surrounded by servants who can do nothing.
The Mali thing was hilarious. TBH the whole thing is funny. I remember reading stories about the British Army equipment problems a couple of decades ago and ya think "Jaysus, that's shocking corruption, that's not where you can cut corners!" and then you see what's happening right now and it's just a completely different scale. As always, both sides, but yeah, scale is sometimes off. :P
