This will be interesting. The Russian opposition have announced an anti-war and anti-Putin rally to start at 14:00 today. [11:00AM in Ireland]
Not a great fan of Una Mullaly but she is spot on today criticising Neale Richmond's hard man attention seeking act and FG's monetary policies which allow Russia money to swirl here.

Didn’t take long for SF to send their deflections out.
Estimated up to 1,000 Canadians volunteers have gone to fight in Ukraine (big ethnic Ukrainian community in Canada)
Yeah, would love to hear her comments on Diarmaid Mac Dubhghlais's saying the rebels were fighting a fascist government in Kiev.
8 years ago Russia threw everything they had at it and didn't break through
Elon Musk has some thoughts on the revelation that the U.S. and Ukraine have been training migrating birds to deliver biological weapons to Russia. 🤣
This is true, but there's a fair difference between eight years and now.
Bayraktar - do- do- do-do
Catchy tune
Interesting.
Very off topic, but "they" (public) are desperate for someone to do something about it (housing) quick imo. If SF say they will fix it people will vote for them. Has been left fester for so long (I think approaching 30 years now) and the situation has just gotten worse and worse as time goes on with ever larger proportions of electorate being affected by it.
The centre (main) parties that have goverened Ireland are fully responsible for that. Unfortunately SFs instinctive ideas on stuff like Ireland's foreign policy, Ireland's EU membership (campaigned for no vote in all referendums) down the years have all been completely wrong and dangerous.
Most voters don't know/care about or pay attention to that stuff though (maybe this will be changing given what is going on at the moment).
Who?
Tbh, even if they do get in, I reckon it'll be more of the same due to the DEEP STATE
Not only do they want to service the debts in their own monopoly money, but also at an exchange rate determined by the Bank of Russia. 🤣
In my opinion all this domestic political sniping should be taking to the relevant threads (of which theres plenty)!
Agree.
Why are we not surprised!
I think that Russia and the Russian stance of our main opposition party is highly relevant to the topic
But not a patch on
The Polish people are really taking this on. Activists have been blocking Russian and Belarus trucks from crossing the border into Belarus for two days creating a 28 km long tail back.

He was a local election candidate for SF in 2019.
TBH, the vast majority of Boards users avoid those Shinner threads because they're head melting at the best of times, so it's not bad to have their antics exposed outside of those threads every now and again
Maybe, but it usually ends up with posters typing and derailing threads with their rage horns....as i said,i think there are loads of threads to **** on all parties without this one being dragged down!
Not really. It's a political stance. They are not part of the war, have no influence on how it might shape up and this tends to go on as a very tiresome pantomime for pages and pages. There's a very big thread on SF where people can fight about it.
