What they've seen over the last few weeks will give them a lot of comfort.
From top to toe, the US Army is a professional outfit geared for overwhelming rapid projection of power. If the US and Russia agreed on Queensbury rules of no nukes, the Americans could land in Ukraine tonight and have the country cleared of Russians by next weekend. I have very little doubt about that.
Where the US army struggles is the 'nation building' task they were landed with in Afghanistan. Give them a country as a theatre of war and a conventional enemy like the Russians? Goodnight Ivan, enjoy the trip back to Moscow licking your wounds.
The nuclear threat is the only thing keeping the overmatched power of the US from humiliating the Russian forces.
Both China and India are working on non US-dollar payment mechanisms.
Working on doesn't mean working and China is more than just commodities. They'd really love a quick way out of this mess not a way to make it worse by running their own powerplay.
I take it you haven't been on any Islamic websites or forums ,
Why post nonsense and expect it to be believed ,
I'm not so sure how uniquely placed China is when they're looking down the barrel of the largest asset bubble in world history because of their housing investment pyramid scheme and their central bank has to shore that up when it pops. Their economy is and has been on a tightrope for years.
Pretty sad sight
I think you're projecting there with the "lizard" talk 😄
Rather, you got owned, with evidence, and now you're just bitter. Don't get bitter... get better. Educate yourself. Otherwise you'll comply the rest of us into even more bullsh*t down the road 😄
You'll excuse me, but I don't feel I need to prove myself to some little trolling scrote online who's been excitedly cheering on the war from the start and has shut down anyone talking of peace, insisting that Ukraine should fight to complete victory no matter how many that kills.
I'm of north African persuasion and I visit forums related to that.
Ah yes the old equivalence argument.
You know exactly what i'm talking about, do you admit that Ukraine was invaded and there's a war there?
They're not 'putinbots' and that term has started to look a bit silly. It seems to cover actual putin supporters, to morons, or anybody questioning anything that isn't dripping with a yellow and blue flag.
They're far more likely to be of that contrarian on twitter and whatsapp type who reckon they've some secret knowledge and have looked behind the curtain, unlke the sheep. Never mind that none of it is secret if someone with an internet connection living in suburbia can find out all about it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂
When can we get a delete post tab
Which again if history is anything to go by we'll see similar for a time in Ukraine when the official bullets stop flying.
It's possible there were SAS or other advisors in the barracks.
You're adding nothing to the thread Howard Hughes. There's loads of space in the Conspiracy Theories forum for your Lizard People chat .
Stop polluting the thread pretending whatever garbage you read on 4Chan makes you "clued in".
Quite possible along with other countries special forces units , but I suspect that they are engaged in the field,
But I'd be surprised if there wasn't logistics teams based in the barracks
They can work on it all they wish, but any payment I've ever made to Chinese companies are always in dollars, and often to bank accounts in the US. Bottom line is the US dollar is the safest most stable currency.
Someone had a lucky escape
What I posted was those Chechens who have chosen to be Putin's facist bully boys in Ukraine. It has nothing to do with the Islamic world or any ideas of external support. And I see whataboutery. You didn't mention Disney land either.
Thing is is whilst Chechyna may be an integral part of the secular Russian Federation and governed by the same laws as Moscow, other Chechens have again taken up arms against Russia.
The slick anti Ukranian / pro Russian English titled videos being produced are straight out of Putins central casting. Dont kid yourself otherwise, educate yourself instead

Expect it to be hit with rockets in the nearby future
Reported that there are quite a few Dutch volunteers wounded
Should'nt you be watching someone on Youtube telling you that the grass isnt really green, it's just additives
It's weird that people who are so convinced that anything the media say must be false, will believe anything that some random lamper comes out with
Do you even think theres a war in Ukraine 😂
I'd say you're fun to go for pints with.
Agreed about China not being in good shape at all.
However, after so much QE and papering over the cracks, and with wall st out of control and out of touch with main st, etc etc I am not sure that the US/Western economies aren't about to pop too due to unsustainable levels of debt and this conflict. Perhaps a stock market crash will be the precipitating event for both western economies and the Chinese economy to crash.
If the US dollar loses its dominance as a global reserve currency, that will change the balance of power in this world. It's the kind of thing that governments fight wars over.
Long term, I think we are headed towards some form of global debt forgiveness, but also towards a weakening of the US dollar's grip on the world economy and a strengthening of the 'alteratives' as India, China and Russia work together... a bipolar world order, in other words.
Yarmolenko A. from Ukraine just scored for West Ham. Emotional moment to see players and crowd.
I had an exchange with another poster on the Ukraine thread about this and the "whys" of the matter. The position of the US dollar as the global reserve currency of choice is unassailable and is underpinned by a number of economic fundamentals and geopolitical variables that are highly unlikely to change soon.
The day a hostile power has tanks rolling down Pennsylvania Avenue in DC or Martians land on College Green is the day I take chatter about another currency supplanting USD as reserve currency seriously.
The globe doesn't transact in USD because of Captain America, Ronald McDonald and Rocky IV.
Countries that are hostile to dollar hegemony are almost always despotic and have found themselves (more often than not rightly) on a State Department sh*tlist. Breaking dollar hegemony is a long-held fantasy of these places, but it will remain in the realms of fantasy.
Currently, for sure.
On the other hand, I suspect that analysts will say certain things to drive interest in their products and financial solutions, so perhaps the Credit Suisse guy's opinion should be considered in that context.
Other threads? My god. Weirder.
I think it's pretty valid. Failing to call it a war and offering weak platitudes like i hope it's over soon, oft repeated by Russians plying their trade in the west, for me exposes the poster's real affiliations.
Their ramblings on here are just an attempt to suggest that we are being influenced by propaganda more than Russians are, that no one knows the full story and we're all being 'managed' somehow.
