My point is that they're not engaged to the same degree as yet.
EU=/= Europe. Can this be stickied?
Since when is Ukraine in the EU?
There's a few people who think they are EU members. I don't know why they think that.
how , Ukraine is a governed state an EU country ,texas is just another idiot siting beside Arizona or Oklahoma
So Ukraine could base their jets on NATO bases perhaps even an aircraft carrier in the black sea and NATO wouldn't be involved in your eyes?
Maybe Ukraine can have AA weapons just fixed in NATO countries and drive them a few feet into Ukraine and fire and quickly retreat?
I don't think Russia would see that in the same way you do.
I can see you're the sort that wont rest until you've got the last word in.
No-one has insulted you. Saying that an idea is idiotic is hardly a personal insult. You've certainly got a fertile imagination, I'll grant you that.
Oh, and to answer your question...
@standardg60 - And what on earth does starting a war within a war even mean?
I'll spell it out in layman's terms for you:
a) Russia is fighting Ukraine
b) you suggest Nato/USA fight Belarus
c) Belarus borders Ukraine
Result: war already going on, so starting another in the same area between two new entities = war within a war
Take a kindly suggestion and call it a night because you're going to come on here tomorrow and realise that you've totally embarrassed yourself.
You quoted me just before I added "directly"
Either way, "not fighting in Ukraine" isn't the same as "fighting in Ukraine"
Also, I was emphasising the status of each country's army in order to highlight their differing levels of involvement.
I know I have mentioned this channel before but honestly this video is must watch in order to get a better understanding of what is going on on the ground in Ukraine.
The guy is former American military who has studied Russian battle tactics.
-theft
Providing a base for infrantry, airforce, and missiles to launch attacks doesn't qualify as involvement then?
Belarus's army is not directly involved.
Russia's army is directly involved.
Their respective levels of involvement, THUS FAR, seems to differ somewhat.
So still quoting the same one man band from the Russian Ministry of Propaganda on Twitter? Yeah good job 👍.
But no I wouldn't take yer mans tweets for anything tbh all things considered looking at the state of that account.
Yes i know, the Russian front
Da I am always glad to be of service comrade. I shall continue to share the latest news from the front.
Missiles fired from Iran fall near US consulate in Erbil, Iraq - report
this?
They were inspired by Comrade Claire's ranting distractions about US atrocities.
I see the Adversarial pacifist is back in for another shift down at the embassy
Ffs grow up.
Saying it would heap more misery on Ukraine doesn't mean I know what's going to happen. You're simply inventing things.
You're another one of those on this thread who wants to suck people in to pathetic back and forth sniping at each other.
Suggesting we attack Belarus is idiotic. And if by definition you want to interpret that as me calling you idiotic, then that's your prerogative.
Now leave me out of your childish games.
Nobody will be forced to take money off the refugees. The idea is ridiculous.
If its already on Irish news why bring it up here?
The US has a history of retaliation against those that attack them. Pick up any history book.
I wonder if he has the correct License???🙂
Eh no, you specifically said such action would heap more misery on Ukraine, at least stand by what you said.
For someone who has claimed to have such a high iq surely you can do better than resorting to calling my post and by definition me idiotic.
And what on earth does starting a war within a war even mean? Belarus is clearly as much a part of this war as Russia is.
Lol. Nope. Who mentioned the "Americans" btw? Are they involved in Ireland taking in Ukrainian refugees?
Simply pointing out the very odd and unbidden repetition of the same anti Ukranian refugee nonsense in this thread and elsewhere where you've claimed "People don't do stuff for free" etc etc and other similar sentiments
**** hell, Iran acting up now. Are we going to need a WW3 megathread soon??
The daily mail are reporting that the attack in Iraq is the second attack in as many months and that the first attack came from a group hellbent on continuing fighting until the last 2,500 us soldiers have left the country implying it maybe unrelated to Russia.
edit: also it seems Iranian produced missiles have been firing at the us for years as their relationship with the US has deteriorated.
I unfortunately don't speak Ukrainian so I have idea what he is saying but I'll take the person who tweeted word for it unless someone comes up with a different translation.
A Patriot like this with his name on?
That is a serious escalation in geopolitical terms. And would make you wonder. Think I'll empty a few bob out of the mortgage savings account and enjoy Paddy's day this year because who knows what state the world will be in next year at this rate.
I saw that earlier. It's really very upsetting. It brings it home more than rubble and explosions.
Macron should be given credit for trying to hammer some humanity and sense into him. But he's being led in a merry dance at this stage.
Read that the Israelis are getting shy about hosting peace talks in Jerusalem as well because they know they'll fail, and they don't want their fingerprints on that level of failure.
