It's terrible watching the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Mariupol. By the time the Russians can fully take that city, it won't be worth having.
Also another illustration of the Russian ineptitude and why this invasion isn't exactly a foregone conclusion. Their army is making a four course meal out of Mariupol, still laying siege to the place. It is beyond grim, but defenders are holding out for now. I don't expect the city to hold out indefinitely, but if that's how hard the Russians have to work there, it is going to be one almighty battle to take Kyiv.

You are coming at this from a profit motive, unlike mother Russia there are plenty people in Ireland able to afford to house/feed other people. Within days of being asked over 10,000 people put themselves forward to house refugees. Nobody would even have considered money.
