Clerical Officer in the Civil Service 2022 | Civil Service - publicjobs.ie
Thats brilliant. Well done and best of luck in your new role π
Hi all, I applied for this competition but my county is moving pretty slow so in the meantime my local hospital advertised for a permanent Clerical Officer. I applied not giving it much thought, but I received an email to say I have been selected as a candidate. I am just wondering if I should hold out for this competition or run with the potential HSE job? Also are there any HSE Clerical Officers here? Thanks a mill.
Take it, nothing stopping you taking the CS then if it comes up, but if they never reach your number in your county you may kick yourself. The work is pretty much the same so would have plenty of examples for your interview.
Thanks for your advice, very true at least it is a foot in the door! π
How did you get on? What did they ask? π€ for you!
Was very much competency based. An example for each one. Asked me why I wanted to work for the civil service etc and what would I do to motivate myself if the work was mundane and repetitive. Got thrown one or two questions bout word, excel and outlook at the end but think that was just to establish if I used a computer. To be honest, my brain went completely blank on some things but I'm blaming that on Baby brain π Hopefully hear in the next few days anyways
Interview done and dusted this morning, very happy with how it went, interviewers were very friendly!! How long was everyone waiting to hear their results? π
There was no movement on Longford Panel up to 17th February. I havent checked since.
Does anyone know if the clearance and Garda Vetting documents are requested in advance of an offer ?
Have you done your Interview yet?
