Its a good development - companies leaving in advance of sanctions
Even my own parents remember a time growing up that they had no electricity, raised their own livestock to eat and had no running water.
Not quite on the same level, but as a kid I didn't get running hot water and an inside toilet until I was 10 or 11 years old, around 1975-ish, and this was in the fairly affluent south east of England, about 30 miles from central London. Belts can most certainly be tightened with very little loss of life quality, imo.
I feel Ireland should join CSTO and form an alliance with those countries and be a Western member to those Eastern bloc countries. We are very vulnerable being so close to those UK scumbags to our east and NATO too. I feel it would help our country.
If you believe Ronald McDonald does good things for kids, or that Rolex really cares, then your world view on life is seriously fcked up.
What money is behind Rolex waiting lists? It’s not honest money that’s for sure.
Behind these company brands is just pure greed- they’re all sluts giving whatever satan they idolise a good blow job
I did. I'd like to amend my original statement your honour, failing that I'd like to change the currency mentioned so as to make the number correct.
So how does Russia climb down from this without Putin leaving power. No country will deal with Russia even if they do withdraw.
Interesting thread here.
Brave. Pity there wasn't a few more rocketers banded together. But lots of infantry we see has a rocket launcher with them.
Has there been any confirmation of the Swiss stance apart from a single tweet from a a single source posted here?
Just watched the longer version ,the first few tanks scattered but one got a couple of shots off in the general direction of where the rocket was fired
Yep they did, even facilitated currency conversions and payments for the nazis throughout occupied Europe(no euro back then of course). Funny enough Rolex were the only Swiss watch brand who refused to supply the German military before or during the war. The backed the British from day one, which was brave at the time. The rest of the brands supplied both. Well, until the nazis started to run out of hard currency of course and then the Germans had to use their own watchmaking industry. Watch when the Russians go broke how quickly the Swiss will change their tack. Their neutrality is based on being money grabbing bastards to everyone, until you run out of money. They're a grubby little bunch only concerned with the ringing of tills. I found it the most boring nation on earth too. Like walking around a pretty, but expensive coma. How doctors can tell a Swiss is comatose is beyond me.
Check your “facts”
Guarantee you, IF there’s any sort of “normal” resolution to this war, part of that resolution will be restrictions lifted and the oligarchs money to be returned to them
Watch this space in the weeks to come -and also let’s see just how quickly western businesses like McDonalds return to normal when permitted, vs other companies refusing to do business
Preparations ongoing:
If it walks and quacks like a duck 😝
Western Europe buys a billion a day of Russian gas and oil.
Census Day April 3rd- that will be interesting
So, how long does it take you to commute to work?
Erm let me see, take a plane to Poland. Then walk a few hundreds miles, get bombed- pick up a frapachino on the way- oh, 10 days give or take?
But isn't that exactly what you were doing by calling me Komrade? Thinking you were being clever.
Not really related to the conflict in Ukraine but just shows what a s*** show this year is going to be for food, especially in developing countries.
"China is expecting a partial crop failure, US and Argentina are expecting drought to reduce yield, and other areas are expecting floods. Add to that fertilizer ins in short supply and there will be food shortages. The question is how bad will it be."
Copied from a post on Reddit.
Indeed and from a poster I've seen banging out about posters getting info from Twitter
Some of the deceased or sacked tank commanders and Generals may yet get a commendation from the west for not participating in this war
You think you're being clever. Well done, you've fooled one person.
Medical supplies are still going to Russia including from companies based here
If the Russian military is the second best military in the world then I'd imagine the third best must be in complete rag order! I know Russians aren't the brightest but ffs! This lot haven't a notion. But I guess the clue was in them making a dead eyed thug their president.
Hit on the move.
You would have to despair at some peoples complete loss of their ability for critical thinking. Russia total gas exports in 2021 were 55 billion and Germany buy 1.1 billion per day, hmmm. Let me get my abacus out
Has this been posted yet?
Roight
I think the point is the sanctions aren't aimed at self-sufficient peasants in their rural wooden cottages.
They're aimed at the oligarchs and also the very real middle-class. 15m in Moscow give or take. Another 5m in St Petersburg. Plenty are poor but many are doing as nicely as you or I. If the economy tanks utterly, you'll see a fair few of them impacted. Then you get towards civil unrest and riots (particularly if Putin tries to put down civil unrest the way you presume he might)
Suicidal brave
