Why don't you go over there and join your side and pick up a gun for the motherland instead of doing your brave 'fighting' via a keyboard?
Why do people want NATO to help? I'll just remind everyone why I think that's a bad idea because it's never been mentioned on the thread before...My boss isn't crazy, he was let down, no need to worry, only Ukraine will be attacked...came across this video that explains why Ukraine is in a hopeless situation...I'm not anti-Ukraine...They are't ready to join the EU because things are a bit unstable and they aren't concentrating hard enough on getting their house in order - no mention of a war, mind...did you hear 40,000 Ukrainian troops in Donbas were about to be surrounded and wiped out?....sent by the Irish government ... perhpas you would prefer volunteers not go or be supported... oh look, that's a yes.....Ukrainians are using propaganda and I'd just like to counter that...oh look, another bullet catcher...
Do you think you are being subtle? Pitty that communion supplies truck didn't reverse further at high speed and smash your office.
Now fu*k off.
They'll love the weather. Wonder what they think when they realise fighting isn't always against civilians. I'd say Ukrainians will be merciless against mercenaries.
They aren't going to like the idea of being buried in a cold remote country.
They are very difficult to detect in flight
Put it this wayHK, it looks a lot more like it than say the Americans in Iraq or Afghanistan.
Yep and artillery. Sadly neither are as easy to transport across a border as the handheld stuff, nor as easy to use by untrained personnel.
At least he's going, and the flag doesn't belong to them. In some other countries, the'yd probably be wishing him well.
Ukrainians are yoinking a serious amount of kit
We are very vocal in our opposition to Russian aggression. (Rightly so)
Much more than our opposition to the main aggressor during the Second World War.
The Assadists will get annihilated by the Ukrainian army. My concern is if Iran joins and sends in IRGC/Hezbollah. I'm not sure if that's on the table. It looks like Putin is putin' the screws on his pal in Belarus to join. It's desperation time for the Russians
This needs to be watched by everyone. The most profound and interesting analysis of Putin I've watched so far.
An outstanding interview.

True, they hug the terrain. But, they will have to fly over NATO countries. Bit risky, no - just to attack Ireland. SMH.
My guess is that Assad and his thugs view this as a Russian loss in Ukraine may mean a weakened and retreating Russia, which would be bad for Assad. Also there's already been a diversion of assets from Syria into Ukraine. If Russia have to completely pull out of Syria to support war in Ukraine, Assad goes back to being vulnerable.
TBH, I'm surprised they have to persuade him, in the same way anyone needs to persuade any lapdog.
The war in Ukraine isn't legitimate, you are not even subtle in trying to push the idea that it is.
I'm pretty sure if you asked any country that, they would say no
Oh I think the lapdog has been on board since day 1. I don't think his generals and many in the Belarussian army are on board. That was the news doing the rounds that a Belarussian general refused his orders and quit.
Lukashenko was literally sweating during his televised meeting with Putin. He even had the white hanky out!
Not sure if already posted. WW2 hedgehog tank trap put to use. It’s a museum piece.
Axis forces in this conflict: Lukashenko, Kadyrov, Assad and Putin - it's such a cartoonishly evil cadre of dictators you couldn't make it up
Maybe he was just out of the sauna, which helps cure you of Covid, he said! 😁
Do you think there might come a kind of realisation at some point? Are we the baddies?
"Syrians build snowmen as snow and ice hit Damascus " https://news.sky.com/video/syrians-build-snowmen-as-snow-and-ice-hit-damascus-12520758
Well anything going through Assad would be under the watchful eye of the Israelis, now we're looking at top quality equipment being sent to any militia anywhere in the world where the Russians feel like they can get back at Western forces, that could be in the Middle East or just as likely now in Central Africa where the likes of Wagner are heavily involved.
No, we are not at risk of getting bombed by the Russian airforce.
Being selfisjh isn't how I would describe Poland or Moldova at the moment. Ireland of course is the same as it's always been, with 'oh no, some of those refugees might be coming here - how do we keep them out while still looking good?'
The butcher of Syria knows very well that his destiny is directly tied with the one in the Kremlin. i wouldn't be surprised if those troops ended up landing in Ukraine soon. Perhaps Iran will dispatch Hezbollah to join the genocide as well.
Oh ffs, every tin-pot no mark group wants to join in. Now we have CAR's finest wanting a piece of the action. These lads wouldn't even make it out of the airport once they felt the cold blast hit their faces.
Indeed. It's becoming quite the axis of pricks forming on the Russian side. My only caveat with Iran joining is that they would quite enjoy Russia being out of Syria, it would give them more freedom to entrench themselves against Israel's border which is one of Iran's top priorities. Russia keeps a lid on their operations in Syria. But all in all, Russia is an important ally for Iran and I think they'll send forces if Russia deems it necessary.
