Tis only a few KM from Clon
This is remote :
Jaysus!
Where's that?
Iceland
That is very remote indeed!
Look where the toilet is! 🤯
Love it! F*** everyone else
No one lives in that house. I forget what it is used for. No electricity and do you know how cold it gets in Iceland in winter. It can be cold in Ireland but that would be on a different level. You would be eating canned food once you use up your fresh produce. And the fresh food would go off too if you brought too much with you. Also there is no pier or steps to get up to it. You have to climb the rocks. And the boat that brings you leaves and comes back as it would be wrecked on the rocks if tied up.
I know a bit about it as I watched a YouTube video on it where a guy visited it with Icelanders.
Damn it, there goes another 10 minutes :)
Tis cosy enough on the inside if you have a stash of timber and if that shed is full of turf 😅 Wouldnt mind staying there for a few days.
Mary Kennedy's (RTE) house.
Lovely house, but €850k ..cmon now!
The house is well cared for but dated. I would have expected Mary to live in something a bit 'grander' than that house.
Its pricey at €850,000 given that most couples would need to do work on it.
I've been looking at that house and wishing it was 25% cheaper!
Lovely. Just around the corner from where Franco Sacco was murdered too. History!
That'll go for 950k easy.
I think it’s decorated like the houses of most people of a certain age. Maybe we expect more glamour from RTE stars!
What could be cosier than the glow of an open fire in you bedroom, as viewed from the your shower...
Photo 9 & 10 are the same room, according to the plans.
€400,000 and you can dine in grandeur and elegance.
That is so totally depressing to me. Price of that awful tiny box
Why would the occupants sit side by side staring at the wall? 🤣
Shocking for €400,000
What is that machine under the stairs - Is it the oven?
Never mind the shower, it's lying in bed looking up at the gas boiler that would bother me 😱
Is that even legal?
Holy god!!!
What exactly is the purpose of photo 8?? How does that improve the sales pitch even the teeniest tiny amount? Does it say "look at the roof space, now the interior doesn't look quite so bad!"?
I'm curious why the auctioneer thought photo 7 and 8 would help sell the house? It's a picture of a shore and a picture of the roof. How bad are the bedrooms that they didn't include photos?
If you read the BS blurb, he thinks the space it ideal for a conversion to a "city rooftop garden" 🙄
The auctioneer should get a Pulitzer for creative writing.
Needs work.
Couldn't live there. I see she's gone for the original Teilifís Éireann, left over right, Brigid's cross in the kitchen.
I come from a staunch right over left household.
Needs work 🤣🤣
Needs levelling
This made me smile 😀. I know my granny used to make the St Brigid's crosses long ago but I'm afraid I don't know which way they went! Mary has a gra for St Brigid, she writes about growing up in Clondalkin, and living near St Brigid's Well there.
