If Ireland gets involved in some way, we risk Dublin being bombed by the Russian army.
Whilst it's terrible what's going on, countries will be selfish and look out for their own citizens first.
If you want a laugh on this wet and windy day, read through this kid's posts history on Boards. Start with "Banned for speaking the Truth" and go from there...lol.
He just keeps upping the ante. It's depressing.
I wonder was this element discussed when Putin met the Israeli rep? What deal (if any) was done there? What about Syria? The Iran deal? (Though anyone trying to do a deal w/ Putin at the moment is on a mission to nothing, it seems.) What about Yemen?
Often it's serial offenders and re-regs who are very well known for their fanatical anti-West or pro-Putin views trying all sorts of shenanigans in this thread (I recognise many of the names). Given what's happening, the mods are doing an excellent job.
I clocked 60km driving on the motorway yesterday.
Fucke that convoy is absolutely massive.
I don't think that's totally fair, I think many western veterans are going to get their first taste of what it's like to be on the receiving end of massed firepower and it's going to be a shock to them at the start
Its hardly surprising in fairness, look at how screwed Putin is with his soldiers. He can't do any worse by bringing in those lads.
That being said, I shudder to think how those guys will adapt if they are still there come winter time. Most of them will never have seen snow
Russia equipment lost, we're over the 1k mark. Now stands at 1,034 according to independent site (with visual evidence)
More of this please. (Dissent in Russia that is, not more Daily Mail.)
Putin's war on freedom of expression in Russia appeared to be fraying at the edges on Thursday after guests on Kremlin-backed TV defied Moscow and openly criticised the brutal conflict in Ukraine, calling the invasion 'even worse than Afghanistan'.
Guests have refused to support the narrative pushed through by television hosts on Putin's request that Russia has been conducting a 'special operation' to 'demilitarise' and 'de-Nazify' Ukraine – claims dismissed as baseless pretexts by Kyiv and her partners in the West.
One who appeared on one of Russia 1's prime time talk show 'An Evening with Vladimir Soloviev' rebelled by referring to the USSR's disastrous invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 which ended in withdrawal ten years later.
The Russians appear to be softening up a few more cities, is Dnipro next on their bucket list? Dnipro will not fall quickly
It's possible that Poland may get involved, do a deal with partners to weaponise, resign from NATO and then engage under their own steam. Could that be the next escalation? They seem to be the most likely to step up militarily at the moment.
Independent take of what's going on in the East of Ukraine (in the fight for Donbass) according to an ex-general
Kremlin in full 1984 mode
Russia has shown it needs no excuse to invade and or try to bomb other countries flat and murder innocent civilians.
Time we realised that and stop kowtowing to terrorists like Putin and friends
That seems to be a critical fight.
Still astonishing that Ukraine is holding back one of the world's military super-powers (which has committed over half its entire military to this)
But better if Ireland stays out of it.
The defence of the Donbas line is incredible stuff, the Russians making no progress there at all.
Onlyfans are not backing away from Russia
Stays out of what? You mean being threatened by Russia / Russian shrills and the like?
Putin’s Henchmen Rage About Getting Trolled With ‘Endless Photos’ of Dead Russian Troops
While Russian President Vladimir Putin is raining bombs on Ukrainian cities, his top propagandists are most concerned about getting bombarded with text messages, and losing the information war to Ukraine.
On Thursday’s episode of The Evening With Vladimir Soloviev, state TV propagandist Vladimir Soloviev complained that he and editor-in-chief of RT Margarita Simonyan are being terrorized by unknown individuals, receiving endless calls and texts about Russia’s military activities in Ukraine. He griped: “Margarita and I can show our telephones to demonstrate that we’re getting a thousand calls and texts per hour.”
Several days earlier, two other state TV propagandists, Olga Skabeeva and her husband Evgeny Popov, also reported a barrage of calls. Skabeeva, who hosts the state TV show 60 Minutes, angrily yelled that Ukrainians or their supporters have been “endlessly calling everybody, everybody, all citizens of Russia, including me and Evgeny!”
Yes completely stay out of it. We're a small country at the edge of Europe that no one really gives a toss about.
Let's stay that way.
The FUBAR thing about all of this, is the more brutal Putin is against the Ukranians, the less likely NATO is to intervene on the logic of 'If he's prepared to use nerve gas against civilians in Ukraine, he's already crossed that massive red line, so whats stopping him from using a tactical nuke...'
Sadly, if Putin was obeying the 'rules of war' it would make it more likely that NATO would intervene because it would indicate that his posture is less extreme and he would be less likely to go nuclear.
Giving anyone a doomsday device breaks any possibility of reigning them in if they go rogue.
If we manage to survive this engagement, we need to seriously return to the Non Proliferation table to get every nuclear power to reduce their arsenal massively.
It's unreal isnt it?
I mean, do they not see the outright bogeyness of the same fella getting voted in for the last god knows how many years.
Nothing dodgy about that...
Nope...
Nope....
With the West liberally supplying the Ukrainians with anti-tank and anti aircraft weaponry the Russians are going to have to rely on old fashioned artillery and bodies to launch their attacks. So 16k throw-away fighters with some urban combat experience are the way to go. And unless the West start supplying the Ukrainians with heavier weapons the lower quality of these guys won't matter. They'll just grind their way into every city under heavy artillery cover.
Im not sure if anyone else noticed it but there is also a subtle threat in there. They said they're going to let the foreign fighters use captured western weaponry.. which of course means we're going to give them the weaponry and they can send it back to the Middle East for use against Western forces there
We should consider joining NATO ASAP. If NATO and US sticks to its hardline of not intervening until another NATO member is attacked, then Putin could fire a nuke into Ukraine. And he could do the same to us.
Turkish Delight-
Moscow becoming bogged down in Ukraine would curtail its power in conflict zones where Turkey and Russia are both involved, not least in the Middle East, writes Galip Dalay.
Aren't you the one engaging in seven pages back nonsense... It's up to me to keep you abreast of the thread. That's up to you. Keep up horse.
Anyway moving on from this because your just cluttering up something you pretend not to be doing.
The Russians have been supplying Assad's forces with hardware for years. Putin gave them thermobaric missiles.
