Very smart from China.
Give Vlad enough rope to hang himself, then snap up what's left.
Vlads playing snap, these lads are playing dungeons and dragons.
The Russians are well capable of shooting down another civilian airliner over, say, the Black Sea, and blaming Ukraine/the west.
Can you explain to me how you see that working out? Stinger missiles have a range of 8km (5 miles). Here's the current situation with regards to flights in the region.
Does he still think he's just gaslighting the Russian people?
Except that the road is NOT called after George Orwell!
And 25% of the worlds semiconductors required to make those processors as well as many many other things are made in china and there already is a global shortage of many computer parts due to the demand for them.
It’s very catchy
Before that Lavrov " reassured " us that they weren't going to attack other countries, before clarifying "We did not attack Ukraine, either" - so, they wont attack other countries, they'll just 'special military operation' them. 🤨
A Bobby Sands Burger Bar is like a joke the UVF would tell and yet you take it as a win because something something Iranians something something Britain something something IRA something something haha gotcha?
Actually, I don't want to know. It's all childish, trolling sh1te.
I just cant work out where their heads are at. They know that the world knows that it’s all lies. They know that it makes them look like complete idiots. What do they gain from spewing sh1te?
Wibbs can talk for himself.. (AT LENGTH :D ) but first the military conditions for talks have to be created. This means continuing support for Ukraine from other countries. BUT, Second, all conflicts end with meetings and diplomacy. (Surrender optional.)
And TBH, I am glad there are people like Wibbs around in Ireland. They are more the upholders of Irish traditions of civility and neutrality and diplomacy (towards others NOT towards each other obviously :D ) than nasty old men that want to see the world burn.
The KGB assessment that Putin is a person who does drastic things with no sense of risk proven to be spot on all these years later.
Was the risk worth the reward in this case definitely not.
Can you translate/simplify your post please….?
Can you actually read or just pontificate from self declared moral high horse?
Two words - Domestic Consumption
Gave me goosebumps. No way will Russia win this war up against that.
How do I see it working out? I would see a Russian warship going into the area of the Black Sea where the flight path between Europe and Dubai/Abu Dhabi is, launching a Buk and shooting down an Airbus A380. Then the warship would sail away and despite it being categorically certain it was Russia that did it, Russia would laugh and claim it was the Ukrainians or the Americans that did it, it would claim both of them did it. And that's it.
This decades comical Ali.
Comical Sergei.
A great tool in this war is social media jokes. The rest of the world needs to laugh at Russia, humiliate everything they supposedly stand for.
Sanctions against Roman Abramovich, more like Tories smoke and mirrors.
Well thanks for the USELESS input but rerp - didn't say it was. Its has the same name as the guy who wrote 1984 and in reality suits better than any alternative I've seen put forward. Unless you don't like that?
The FSB/KGB are almost certainly looking at ways to deal with madman Putin. Russia is going backwards at a rate of knots that would leave anyone dizzy. Putin is a classic example of a person who has spent their life in a supervised/organised environment. Putin is so cut off from the world I doubt he has any information on things beyond what his handlers give him. Eventually, those types lose all sense of reality and go loco.
Russia 1 TV is showing videos of Kharkiv in ruins, saying "this is what the west media hysteria is saying is happening in Kiev", then they show the live Youtube stream of Kiev centre, but glossing over the fact the Kharkiv is actually in ruins ...
This is the type of gaslighting the state are pumping out
haven't seen @BurgerFace @MFPM @BluePlanet in a while...love to hear their take
Chelsea fans wont be happy today, any chance they could protest in Moscow and bring the government there down?
Ah they're probably busy ...
Meanwhile this is what the Russian Embassy in the UK is actively pushing on Twitter. Time twitter brought down the hammer on that type of shite Imho
Eh, Putin is the 'FSB/KGB'.
@MeepMeep2021 A Bobby Sands Burger Bar is like a joke....
I hear he was buried in England. In Nuneaton.
I picked a hell of a week to quit smoking.
Sorry you take it that way. Sincerely, all my arguments are arguments for and from humility and against absolutism. As I see it, absolutism breeds bigotry and prejudice. Moral high horses create and perpetuate conflict. Russia's invasion is a prime example of where being on a moral high horse and full of attendent hubris and hate can lead.
We (Ireland) need to avoid getting up on a high horse ourselves as we respond to Russia's actions. So we don't need to demonize all Russians or become so bigoted and dehumanized and animalistic that we celebrate Russian deaths or so childish that we rename the road the embassy is on. Putin is temporary but Russia will be around a while yet (probably), just as Orange Man Bad was temporary but the USA will be around a while yet (more than likely, and I would add, hopefully).
And the ruins in Kharkiv will be because "terrorist Nazi brigades" were occupying civilian houses, leaving the Russian defensive forces no option but to fight back.
TSMC's largest customer is Apple, the world's most valuable company. If China invades Taiwan there will essentially be no more Apple products for years, which is how long it would take Samsung to build more fabs. The processors for Xbox series and Sony PS5 consoles are made by TSMC.
It is probably not possible to over exagerate the seriousness of the negative implications for the west of China invading Taiwan.
Apparently Ukraine is a major source of gases used in the manufacture of processors and world chip manufacture is likely to suffer.
