Babushka's Secrets
Just another UI
That's going to upset posters on here
Good to see companies exiting Russia
Trump was too volatile, too likely to Steam roll over Russia.
Biden was part of the White House that left him have Crimea.
It was reasonable to presume that the push back would be less. It is but it is still very significant and he must be stunned.
Poison is de rigueur over there - just sayin'
Would in his hoop.
I'd be distinctly interested into the throughput in his businesses now that Russian sanctions have kicked in. I'd gather there's alot less revenue being 'booked' through them.
I remember reading Richard Feynman’s book about working on the project. The smartest minds of the time genuinely thought they were doing a good for their country, developing the atom bomb before the Germans. I remember Feynman describing how initially they were full of excitement, they threw a party on their car in the middle of the desert. As time grew on the scientists became more and more anxious, slowly realising what they had actually done. After the death of his wife and the development of the weapon Feynman lost his sense of purpose in life for a long time believing that nothing matters anymore, it will just end up destroyed anyway.
He eventually came around and savoured every moment in life.
Nobody else would have thought of the genius idea of painting Chinese flags onto their jets and bombing the sh1t out of Moscow!
What would be an ever better idea (although keep this one to yourself as I didn't want to say it publicly as it is too brilliant even for me) would be to paint Russian flags onto jets and then go and bomb the sh1t out of Moscow.
I could be wrong but I think the Russians have used small nuclear explosions to de-mine areas ?
People say a no fly zone would open Pandora's box - Its not actually true
Humanity opened Pandora's box in 1945 - and its remained open ever since
Maybe, maybe not.
Biden though was a proven product after Crimea and Putin presumed he would roll over again.
Why don't you stop nit-picking.
And while you're at it give the nuclear bit a rest as well. You did the same a few days back... post after post after post, droning on and on and on about nukes coming our way. Why cant you just make a single post to make your point and then leave it at that? Many posters told you to pack it in the other day, yet here you are again, the harbinger of doom.
I told you the other day, and I'll tell you again. If the nuclear threat - however tiny - is making you so paranoid, then get googling how to "build your own fallout shelter", and give us all a rest. Folk on this thread are discussing all aspects of this horrific war, and can do without your constant nuclear scaremongering. Bottom line is if it happens it happens, and there's nothing you, me or anyone else on this thread can do about it.
I do hope the war finishes soon, that is within several weeks. If it drags on, the humanitarian situation will be awful. And if Ukrainians see no end in sight, they are likely to turn to terrorism against Russian cities.
If Trump was president the US response, which has not been nearly enough as it is, would have been pathetic. I mean FFS, the same guy ran Trump and Viktor Yanukovych - Paul Manafort, who ran "the Torturer's Lobby" aka Black, Manafort and Stone. Steve Bannon idolises Putin. Trump calls Putin a genius. How obvious does it have to be that Trump was and remains Putin's man?
Another good movie in a similiar mode:The Day After 1983 Full movie below, Original.
Someone was laundering alot of money and it's probably the world's most famous spoofer businessman. Where do folks think that cash was coming from...
One would have to assume that this is the thing that pushes Russia into a sovereign default very soon. It's virtually unheard of for a modern economy to see such a withdrawal of foreign investment in such a short period of time (countries like North Korea and apartheid South Africa never had it to start with).
Yet his action signal was Bidens election.
What has that got to do with anything?
Putin definitely did not see this coming. Utterly misread the unifying effect that his invasion would have
He was hardly going to steam roll the sources that were keeping him in the black was he now.
Luckily he's out.
That is absolutely awesome - they have some amount of balls.
Russia will nationalize the assets of foreign companies that leave Russia. The country is literally run by the mafia, incredible.
Why would he when he can blame the Ukrainians? He's blamed them for everything else including starting the war and directly escalating NATO / European threats to Russia.
It would justify his "special military operation" in which he has attempted to valiantly claim to be fighting Nazis on Russias border. Putin possibly imagines it would also make him a hero in Russia especially where any such strike was limited.
Just suppose a nuclear war takes place and Nato wins hands down, what would the west do with the leftovers of Russia, balkanization?
Maybe he could get a few tips from this
Under Trump we would have pulled the rug from under them last month, like we did with the Kurds.
Oh hell, it's happening lol
So Victoria's Secret will become a state enterprise?
Never go full Soviet.
