Got the confirmation as well. 24th 12:30pm. I still don’t have the payment details showing up in my account though which is weird. (Somebody did share the details in this topic before but want to see it in my account).
1.Go into Your Tesla Account ,
2 .go to "Dashboard and select "Manage" where you see icon for your car
3.Scroll Down and you will see "Next Steps with a Payments Option. Expand that by pressing the "+" symbol to reveal details for making payment
Also got the text - scheduled for 25th at 12:30! Now to put myself at the mercy of Irish Rail...
I only got the wheel caps and two centre console boxes from Tesla, plus two key ring key card holders from Ali express. (Don't normally carry a wallet but usually have my keys.)
In next steps there is only insurance which I can’t do yet. I don’t have a trade in. I wrote from chat and they said my account will update soon to show it.
I only have insurance in next steps and there and there is no payments tab.
I now ordered a screen protector for the giant display. People were saying that was one of the most important things to get.
Ignore the insurance bit, it's for US citizens I was told, something to do with legally having to have insurance before collecting a car there.
The payment bit will arrive soon..
Unless you're planning on dropping the screen on the ground, or kicking it, I can't see why you would need a screen protector!!!
2 years in and the screen is fine, no scratches or marks on it. I keep a microfibre cloth in the centre console, and a good wipe with that and teh screen looks like new.
To quote an analogy from a few weeks back on this thread: "It's like wearing a jonny with your wife to keep her clean for her next husband!"
There were reports with people scratching it with rings and stuff. Better be safe than sorry :)
Ordered one myself as OH was worried about the glare. Didn't install it and she never had problems without it. You can see the fingerprints when parked and screen is off but who cares.
Got the above as an attachmemt - if you send €1 through (with your RN number), you will see it come off your balance in a day or two
You can then send the rest when you're ready

Originally ordered about a month ago with an August delivery estimate....mad dash now to get the ICE sold, but will be worth it
Charging at Mahon about 1230 today, went for a coffee and when I was coming back there was a transporter truck unloading 8 (or 9?) shiny new M3s, various colours, with no reg plates yet (should have taken a picture but had a coffee in my hand etc etc). So someone somewhere will get the nod on those ones pretty soon.
They were Model Y's according to the Facebook group! I wish they were delivering M3's to Cork...

Got my text to schedule my delivery. Could have booked it for the 24th, but the 28th is my birthday, so booked it for then 😁
No payment request/details in account yet for me either, but I'm sure that'll get sorted closer to the time!

All the 2020 and 2021 deliveries, by colour.
It’s pretty much the same proportions for the recent 2022 deliveries, except blue is marginally ahead of black, meaning black is actually the least popular of the normally-priced colours so far this year, which might be a surprise.
I have a screen protector, but not for the protection itself, but to eliminate glare. I do a lot of east-west trips and was finding at certain times at late dawn or early dusk I was getting harsh reflections from the sun. A matte screen protector sorted the issue.
Great to see stats, white is popular but the figures are inflated a bit more as I know a lot of people changed their original orders (different colours) to cars that were available or inventory (majority of the time are white).
I got that option but would have cost me an extra 1k (maybe old school but I just can't take to white cars).
Same to a degree with other OEM's but dealers stay with safe colours (black/white). Got that choice with the ioniq.
But is clear even outside that white is growing in popularity in all cars.
I've seen some fantastic wraps on Model 3's in Ireland, so I presume most of them are white underneath, and that saving went towards the cost of the wrap.
I might wrap mine in a year or 2 to freshen it up.
Seen another red model 3 today have to say it is the business maybe why it's the dearest.
Just a quick Model 3 question, my cousin is moving abroad for work and has asked would I be interested in buying his blue Model 3 Performance. It is a 201 with 40k km, and has enhanced auto pilot.
I've checked done deal and carzone and it is hard to match exact specifications/mileage and obviously what they sell for vs asking price, the asking prices seem to be €62k to €65k, would something in this range be a fair price?
Tesla sold one yesterday. Same spec for 54k.
