True but what are the informed thoughts on Putin (honestly have you any links to reliable , non bias informed info on Putin?).
Any of the stuff I’ve heard suggests Putin is prepared to use nuclear weapons as a threat (well he’s already done that) and at best it’s unclear if he would actually use them but most appear to suggest it unwise to underestimate his threats.
Im not suggesting we live in fear of Putin forever, but I’d rather discuss the actual threat on the table then presume it’s not a real threat cause it’s an insane thing for anybody to do. I think what Putin is doing in Ukraine and threatening pretty much everybody in the world is insane but maybe that’s just me.

Whether you want to belive it or not, there are people in the world who are prepared to fight, and to die, for what is right in the world. We've been through almost 5 decades of a Cold war involving conflicts with nuclear armed nations, yes there is a heightened threat, but it doesn't automatically mean some sort of nuclear conflict is inevitable. Likewise India and Pakistan are nuclear armed and have been fighting over Kashmir for donkeys. Kim Jong-Un most certainly has nukes, endlessly rattles the sabre, but we've grown used to the act.

But in history , there’s not been a global existential threat of this magnitude. Hitler didn’t have the power to destroy a country with the push of a button and there were even rules between USA and Russia during the Cold War, there’s no rules with Putin.
