I think of my sons when I see that, I never want to see them in war. I don’t want all out war , I don’t want this to escalate. I don’t see war as the only inevitable solution.
We need to be firm with them and maybe aggressive if that’s what has to be done.
But Id love to think there is equally an effort to infiltrate Russians at home and in the army to turn them against Putin. Totally destabilise the country , not with hate but with some sort of counter- charm offensive. I’d be hoping this is happening regardless of all the sanctions as there’s more then one way to stop a dictator. (As I am sure the cia can testify to)
As others have said, this nonsense act of aggression against the Russian embassy in ireland doesn’t help us in anyway. Maybe it’s cathartic to see it happen but that’s the limit of its benefit and it does give the Russians propaganda ammunition that they don’t actually have to make up.

That only tends to work on people in two minds, not on those who've already made them up. With those people it only reinforces what they already believe. IE the West is against us, even the Irish and we've never hurt them. Now we know they're American lackeys like the rest of them.

The other day their religious leader/primate bloke(whose richer than Croesus while many Russians struggle) was giving a sermon in support of putin(they're in each other's back pockets) and part of it was the accusation that Western nations only attack nations that don't allow Pride parades.
