Only very marginally. Nuclear subs mean the Russians would be able to hit all/most of their targets in North America and Western Europe however the war kicks off.
Anyway I don't believe Putin would nuke Ukraine unless he's actively seeking to start WW3 as he has 'conventional' weapons that would achieve much the same effect if he's looking to up the ante on the battlefield.

Christ lads Ukraine is under martial law, civilians are being bombed from the air and gunned down in cars as they try to escape cities.
If this was Ireland, and there was prima facie evidence a member of an Irish negotiating team was either an agent of or giving comfort to the enemy in a war of national extinction, I'm not getting overly upset if they are executed under martial law.
This is the real deal people, I know we haven't seen a war like this in Europe in nearly a century, but this is what war is.

The violent situation in LNR and DNR was largely manufactured by Moscow, they zoned in on the fringe and armed them, as well as sending Russian troops, materials and equipment into the region.

China has a nuclear umbrella act with Ukraine, mutual self defense pact in case of nuclear attack. Regardless, China wouldn't allow such an act. Putin already had to delay the invasion until after the Winter Olympics on their request.
No-one is disagreeing with you- some of us are just pointing out that the phenomenal support Ukraine has got to date, has been a testament to how the leadership of that country have behaved throughout. As Wibbs has said, if they start using this war as an excuse to settle old scores, then that support will wane.

No reason to doubt you- you obviously have experience in this area. But i guess the key point is for the average Russian who previously had access, they may neither care nor have the technical ability, to obtain this channel again.
More than a few individuals are waiting for the tiniest excuse to exploit and blow out of context anything negative that happens or will happen in Ukraine. It's a country of millions of people, as the invasion goes on it's likely we will see mistakes, reprisals and atrocities committed by Ukrainians (almost unavoidable in wars)
The pro-Putinistas and ultra anti-western cynics who have been on boards for years haven't suddenly all disappeared. Most are quiet for now, but they will become increasingly vocal as time goes on.

Most certainly - one could imagine there will no longer be access to the station for the average user - But if one has access to a satellite dish - one CAN ACCESS the station, along with many western News channels

Members of Russian National Unity (RNU), one of the largest official neo-Nazi groups in Russia, are apparently entering into the conflict in support of Putin's invading forces. When confirmed ill update.
So apparently Putin wants to de-militarise and de-Nazify Ukraine by sending a neo-nazi battalion. Hate & paranoia into love in a matter of 72 hours. With the coverage of the Ukrainian Azov battalion, the same treatment should be applied so that Putin's shown as an utterly dangerous liar. If Ukraine were to join the EU, Azov must be dismantled! I would pay to watch a live stream of both Azoz and the RNU locked into a stadiuem and let them take each other out.
It looks like the next wave of Russian re-enforcements is on the way. Things are indeed looking very bare in the pantry!

And Moscow would claim it was manufactured by Kyiv tacitly and openly backing Ukranian nationalist paramilitaries attacking ethnic Russians. Both would have enough background history and facts to point to to feel their position was right(much like the sides in the Troubles here, depending on one's baseline viewpoint). Like I said this is not a simple Twitter friendly flag avatar waving situation. Putin's invasion of their country most certainly is, the background to it isn't.

worst case scenario-Russia cant encircle Kiev completely, they are taking massives loses both finacially and militarily and become bogged down, the war drags on for years and Kiev and a few other cities hold out, the war becomes unwinnable, Putin drops a few A-bombs, does the west get properly involved militarily if if it hasnt already? (dust off the Enola Gay and drop a few Little boys into Russia is one option)
