Well in fairness, they endured several months of NATO bombing, where a fairly respectable attempt to bomb them back to the stone age was made, and in the not too distant past either. And the only support they got was from Russia. Maybe this has influenced them?
People may have to boycott lot's of companies that make things that have a micro chip in them in a couple of months time also. If Russia block the exports of 2 or 3 minerals the whole worlds manufacturing could simply grind to a halt.
