What's the difference between sending nato stingers, javelins etc and sending them planes. I'm certain there are people of Ukrainian heritage in the US, British, French, German and Polish armies. How is that any different.
Give them some SAM systems, set up an airport in West Ukrainian and launch attacks from there. You can claim the Ukrainians bought them if it makes you feel better

The advantage of these is their mobility. Fixed AA sites can do a lot of damage but could eventually be overwhelmed. But Mobile detachments armed with these can fire - switch position quickly - fire again - and so on

He is a symbol of the state of their armed forces. I seen a clip of civilians confront Russia soldiers yesterday. The soldiers look like a bunch of homeless guys. Rag-tag, illfitting clothing, different gear, ugly people. An ugly person can un-ugly themselves by working out and eating well. These guys have not been doing that.
Rag tag soldiers, teenagers, obese pilots, that soldier that got defeated by a door. Russia have dealt a hand and it was a very poor hand.
You appear more worried about Russia being cut off than anything else. THEY can end all sanctions immediately- by withdrawing from a sovereign neighbour. They chose not to. Therefore sanctions will continue.
Two quite different conflicts. I completely understand the Ukrainian desperation for a no-fly zone, and I think that Zelenskyy will keep pushing for it, but deep down can't argue with the logic against implementing a no-fly zone.

I was responding to the duplicity of a Catholic priest throwing red paint at the Russian embassy and spouting stuff about Satan. It was a stunt and he arranged it so that it would be live on the radio. It was utter hypocrisy when compared to the lack of internal agitation within the Catholic church when it came to their own human rights abuses and child abuse. Maybe that's too much for you to grasp. I am involved in that area for many years so it irked me.

I think the FSB mole story is a ruse to get the Russsians to tear themselves apart internally, in their no-doubt terrifying and ruthless pursuit of someon who isn't there. This would likely be a good tactic to tie them up fighting themselves and compromise their effectiveness in prosecuting external ops.

What's the difference here with NATO, they intervened in the Yugoslavian war and the Bosnians under siege weren't Nato aligned? But the UN council asked for NATO intervention in that war. Zelensky is asking for NATO for a no fly zone only. He didn't ask them to come and bomb Russian targets?
What's different in the Ukraine war compared to the Yugoslavian war besides the West chickening to Putins use of Nucleur weapons? Both wars have clear similarities and innocent people and children getting harmed and killed.
