Now, Obviously if that poster pends €25 on food and throws a bale of briquettes in too, he'll get the fiver off. But if he just buys 25 quids worth of briquettes, no deal.

They must have changed it to groceries only as last November I got an electric blanket from the middle aisle in Lidl and used a 5 off 25 voucher to get it.
Has anyone else put on 5kg since downloading the Lidl Plus App? Need to get rid of the damn thing with all of the junk food. The App is the problem and not my poor discipline.

Worked for me with non food
This morning my bill was €63 (food €20, non food €43), used the €5 off €25 voucher and bill was reduced by €5 with a reduction on every item.
No scratch card but I did get one in the afternoon for another shop so guess they fixed it.
Happy days so.

Thanks for this. In your non food spend was there anything from the middle aisles and was it included? Even though the T&Cs say food items only I had thought it would be a big task for them to exclude every single non food product on sale.
yeah they seem to work in every Lidl, or at least others have had success. Also look back a couple of pages, there are codes there for 5 off 25 euro with one valid each week for the next three weeks.
used the 5 off 25 for mostly middle isle items - clothing, diy tools ( only had a 1.5e apples bag in the trolley, counting for food ) - at a random Lidl store ( not ballyxxx)
the T&C that applies are those from app coupon T&C's ; some folks are stocking up on nappies and other non-food items.
A good saving could be made on items already reduced 30%; just add them up to 25 😊

Middle Aisle purchase €43 total, also got €5 off just middle aisle purchase earlier in week on a different phone.

Brief update on the briquettes. There are none in any if the lidls near me (3) but the voucher works outside if bally1.
Not a bargain but just wondering if anyone has done a return using the receipts on the app? Is there any issue? I've stopped getting physical receipts even for some stuff I might pick up from the middle aisle.
Yes. It's fine. The receipt on the app updates to show the return in red.
Any middle aisle stuff I get I take a paper receipt just in case.
Haven't had to return anything yet though.
Credit where its due to LIDL, I've only been using the App for the past few weeks and I've made a noticeable saving on my grocery bill each time. Plenty great offers on every day items like eggs, potatoes, washing detergent. With all of the talk of price pressures on families, I feel like LIDL are doing their bit to help out.
