I'm missing the bit where hypothetical military convoys in a hypothetically liberated country would regularly destroy hypothetically civilian cars that strayed too close to aforementioned hypothetical military convoys. I'm being very hypothetical because I live in a free country where free exchange of views is one of the shared values of our society.
What I'm saying is no one knows who shot at those journalists. Whereas you are claiming that the absence of evidence is itself evidence that an otherwise undetected Russian "hit squad" did the shooting.
I am going to have to stack this up with the other Ukrainian claims of the Ghost of Kiev, the dying to the last man defenders of Snake Island, the attack on the "unscathed" holocaust memorial in Kiev, the Russian Ukrainian tank crushing a civilian car, the Russian plot to detonate a nuclear power plant and other dubious tales coming out of a highly conflicted information war.

I used to think the Serbs were the "bad guys" after what happened there in 94 and esp when they wiped out that camp of men and boys after the UN walked away and left them to it.
However I just recently saw a documentary about the Irish writer Hubert Butler who wrote The Invaders Wore Slippers and who was intensely interested in that part of the world before, during, after WW2 broke out and I learned a lot of history I wasn't even aware of and it increased my knowledge of the background of what had gone on.
The Croatians were basically a satellite state of nazi germany and the germans couldn't believe how well the Croations took to and enacted all their genocidal policies onto the Serb population. Jasenovac concentration camp run by the Croations was one of the largest in europe.
The Children of Drancy describes the cruelty inflicted by the Croatians on the Serbs, so I guess it's no surprise that the Serbs would align themselves with a country that liberated europe from the nazis and that is so anti-fascist and anti-nazi in its ideology
Incidentally, after the war Ireland hosted one of the Croatian war criminals for a year.-Andrija Artuković. Think he lived in Ranelagh, before the Catholic Church here actually helped him flee to the States...he was arrested over there eventually and brought back to face trial in Yugoslavia

I can't believe I'm actually witnessing Russia and NATO countries at this level of heightened tension. I believed that all ended with the collapse of the USSR.

Better have then in the tent I feel…to date they’ve made a lot of progress pre accession. Not doing so leaves them open to Russian and Chinese meddling (already happening). Kosovo obviously remains a sticking point.

How many photos would you like me to post/link of Ukrainians with guns pointed at the backs of captured saboteurs lying on the ground? I'm sure I could find at least 6. That's how they know. It appears to be an enormous problem. One notable group were driving around in an ambulance for cover.
The night time curfew in Kiev was imposed to hinder the activities of saboteurs.
It’s not just that. They consider Russia something akin to a spiritual older brother. I know a couple of Serbs here and they are broadly pro-Putin and pro-strongman, not-the-best-example-of-a-democracy kinda government. Which is what they end up having for themselves as well.
There was a small one organised but it was cancelled.
