There were some rumours of holes being punched in the fuel tanks by Russian soldiers once they found out the true nature of their deployment.
Unrelated video..
Blaming NATO is beyond my level of comprehension. Can you explain? Unless you mean that NATO should roll back to 1997?
There is, Not sure if it's USAF or NATO in general. F35 from Germany and AWACS are there for sure.

Zionism started really as a response the Dreyfus affair. Israel was initially socialist, hence the Russian connection and admiration. In fact, very socialist. Agriculture/farming etc was the way. The Russians supported Israel's creation at the UN. The Kibbutz movement today and some of the footballs teams are the last remnants of the socialism of old. Some Kibbutzim are really socialist and will not allow you to have a TV unless everyone has one lol it's all communal and everyone gets paid the same, whether a fruit picker or engineer!
When the USSR started to fall apart, Russian Jews fled for Israel. Some with very tenuous Jewish connection....many of them Christians pretending to be Jews 😁. With such a large immigration of Russians, two things happened for Israel. There was a scientific and technological boom......and organised crime appeared for the first time. Also a drinking culture emerged whereas previously Israel had about 3 off licenses.
Fuel and food problems I believe.
Some of the food rations provided were from 2015 so probably a mass dose of the scuts aswell.
Looks like it's back to Basic for Russia
What the chance that Putin can be taken out with a targeted drone strike or similar?
Well, you're demonstrating the point. Any concession is viewed as complete capitulation. So it becomes unthinkable. And given the impossibility of securing any concessions diplomatically, the Russians have (disastrously in my view) decided to escalate to open war to achieve their aims. Things can always get worse.
A different leader would be confronted by the same boardgame and the same players. What other strategy could they come up with?
I know they are not in nato. It is nato expansion that has been used as an excuse for this war. nato expansion is what Gorbachev is talking about in that link I posted. nato provoked Putin. They are both responsible.
Enough pressure on Microsoft and they will cave. Back to the stone age in a few weeks under Comrade Putin. Great to see.
a) they'd have to know where he was first
b) the retaliation could possibly be severe
They provoked Putin for years, now they have genocide in Ukraine. Read what Gorbachev said https://www.rbth.com/international/2014/10/16/mikhail_gorbachev_i_am_against_all_walls_40673.html
RC-12x signals gathering aircraft executing an interesting search pattern over Lithuania. This aircraft picks up errand communications traffic in a particular area. If its searching like this in Lithuania, my guess is that it's looking for agents of the Russian government within Lithuania, for some reason.
Holes Or shots fired from long distance? If true this is a gift to the Ukrainians. The whole column is a parking lot and all they have to do now is atack any fuel tankers coming in.
Reuters reported it but Russia denying it now - saying they are "still developing measures" whatever that means.
Probably slim. Best chance would be to get to his daughter, whose a pediatrician, and persuade her to save the planet.
Is it possible that Russian military capability has been severely over estimated or have they simply underestimated the Ukrainian invasion?
He provoked himself… the Ukraine are a sovereign nation who are entitled to join NATO…
That would be the worst result as it would make a martyr out of him. The desired result is he is toppled from within
Knowing where is was for certain is the key and they would need to be sure he was gone. A stealth attack or neutron bomb to be sure.
I've been checking up on this. On ATIS, the Russian SAR ship PGS-123 left its position off Crimea and headed towards the last position of the frigate/destroyer in question. It's used for firefighting.
ATIS has it at the position shown 4 hours ago. It's possible it was called out to tackle a blaze.
Self inflicted holes was what I gathered from the way it was said.
Some Russian soldiers are not enthusiastic.
Pulling off an ambush on what looks like open plains is fair going.
Well, unless he is attending an Afghan wedding - not good.
A bit of both. Russian weapon systems have 'on-paper' reputation, but their systems - especially air defences aren't as good as suggested. They sold some of their better kit to Syria. Israel was able to evade those defences with relative ease - including against the S-300. Turkey also operated in Syria and didn't have too much trouble. But Russia hasn't deployed its best yet. Not in this war and not in Syria.
We're almost a week in and they haven't got air superiority against a country that doesn't have much air power and its AD systems are mainly old.
They are on long-term regular flights in Lithuania.
Yeah, I haven't seen any further details about this so it's probably fake news. There were two ships in the area, the Russian frigate and some cargo ship.
Been confirmed by Romanian news...
