NATO and Putin together created genocide in Ukraine. They are both evil. It is now up to the good people in NATO, America, Europe and Russia to fix this situation. Admitting NATO is corrupt does not in any way make Putin less evil. Nato has been daring Putin to move for many years.

Putin's aim is to reconstitute the old soviet buffer with the west. He's not letting anyone get in the way of that goal imo. Ukraine is just the next piece.

Thats not the alternative. That would just be the beginning of Ukraine becoming a puppet state of Russia. Without NATO weaponry etc any more Maidan revolutions would just be ended by Russian troops.
As fas as Putin is concerned Ukraine is not a sovereign country but a Russian province.
Plus Ukraine did implement the Minsk agreements.
