The reaction to that post is very interesting. That video was just brand saying there’s propaganda on both sides and just giving examples of it. I was using it because it was short and the videos of the more informed speaking about Putin and russia were too long for some to watch.
I remember having a discussion with somebody about Jordan Peterson. They were saying “he’s misogynistic” and I was saying “just because you don’t like or agree with somebody, does not mean you can’t learn something from them”.

The level of anti-Ukraine propaganda in Russia has been off the scale. Their media talks in a matter of fact way about them being "Nazis, drug users and terrorists"......this has become so ingrained that they thought Russian soldiers would be welcomed by cheering crowds for freeing them from their evil and oppressive government.

My position: Absolutely. As the article states, the weapons are effective (especially the non-Javelin ones that are designed to be carried around.) The Russian invasion of the Ukraine is an existential threat to Europe, and invasion of Europe threatens all of us. We don't have the luxury of neutrality..
Anecdotally, back in 2016 I was chatting to a friend about the US election and it turned out that this guy loved Trump, mainly because of the yuge wall that he was going to build to keep the mexicans out. Anyway, I knew this guy was a smart enough guy and suspected that he might just be gobbling up right-wing and Russian propaganda. I moved the topic to Syria and Crimea and sure enough, he went on about how the white helmets are performing gas attacks on themselves and creating false flags. He was on about the West helping jihadi types which to be fair to him was fairly true. On Crimea, I got to learn about how it was always a part of Russia and how they democratically voted to rejoin. When global warming came up on that same drunken night, sure enough he "didn't believe" in man-made climate change.
On other topics, he basically had whatever opinion or worldview that was being pushed by Russian propaganda at that time. It confirmed to me that propaganda is really effective, even in a world where the population has access to huge amounts of information that they didn't 50 years ago. When you see someone who was duped by it on a subject, they tend to be duped by all of it on every subject but that's not exactly a surprise since it's the same few disinformation networks spreading all of it. Part of the disinformation strategy is to make those people think that it is them who are informed and those who don't consume disinfo propaganda are brainwashed by the mainstream media. It makes them arrogantly stubborn so it keeps them consuming the disinformation till their every opinion can be accurately predicted by keeping an eye on the disinformation doing the rounds.
Anyway, as for my friend these days, you guessed it, he's an anti-mask antivaxer because of course he is.

I disagree on the make up of the convoy. I think it was BBC news had an expert on saying there could be upwards of 300 tanks in that convoy along with similar number of serious weaponry (I can’t remember the exact term he used)- but essentially this wasn’t a convoy of just petrol supplies and tinned Irish stew

Photographs, satellite images ( mostly from Sentinel weather satellites that image in both IR and RGB and are available to anyone), and videos are painstakingly geolocated and referenced in order to prove or debunk claims.
The statistics of losses may not be 100% accurate, in the cases of personnel losses, but the hardware statistics are pretty close.
So, yeah, with a bit of research and intelligence gathering that you, yourself, can do with a laptop, it's pretty easy to believe claims in this "modern world", as opposed to relying on the claims of some state body or government spokesperson, comrade.
